In 1973, around the age of twenty, Andromeda and Ted had one child, Nymphadora Tonks. Andromeda had selected the first name, which her daughter strongly disliked, preferring to be known simply as "Tonks" by her friends. Ted, Remus Lupin, and Andromeda called her Dora for short.
Andromeda was between four and seven years older than Sirius, thus for him to view her as his favorite cousin means that she was likely an exceptional person who shared many of his views of the world. Did Narcissa and Lucius divorce?
The pair eventually file for divorce, a move almost unheard of among Pureblood wizards. During the divorce, both offer to house Draco. Due to Lucius' increased role in Draco's political education that year, Draco chooses Lucius. This leads Narcissa to effectively disown Draco, stating "she can always have more sons".
Narcissa was taught the philosophy of blood purity from a young age and grew up prejudiced in favour of pure-bloods. Thus, like her sister Bellatrix, she cut off contact with her sister Andromeda after she was disowned and burned off the Black family tree for marrying Muggle-born wizard Ted Tonks.
It is doubtful the two ever met again even following Voldemort's defeat as Narcissa still strongly valued pure-blood supremacy. Andromeda's younger cousin Sirius Black told Harry Potter in 1995 that Andromeda was his favourite cousin.
Edward "Teddy" Lupin was born in April 1998 to Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. Some months before his birth, his father expressed regret to Harry Potter of marrying Tonks and fathering a child, fearing that his child would be a werewolf and face discrimination like he had.
This may have been because of several reasons: the anti-werewolf legislation, his suspicions that his in-laws disapproved of his marriage to Tonks, or because of Tonks' pregnancy. Remus was extremely upset by the pregnancy.
That means that they probably got married when they were around 19 or 20, only a couple of years out of Hogwarts. They aren't the only couple in the wizarding world to get married at such a young age. Fleur Delacour is at most 21 when she marries Bill Weasley, who is a bit older, at 26.
Teddy Lupin was raised by his grandmother Andromeda Tonks. He had a better life than Harry had experienced with the Dursleys'. Teddy was loved and spent time with his Godfather, Harry, who treated him like his own son.
As you can read, in Nymphadora, there is also the word Nymph, which in the Wizarding World, are small magical creatures who were also used as Christmas decorations (who even sang) in Beauxbatons. Nymphs were usually flirtatious, allowing Tonks to “hate” her name a bit.
Nymphadora is the gift that keeps on giving. Of Greek origins, it is a variation of Nymaphdorus, composed of the elements nymphe and doron, meaning “the gift of his young wife” or “a bride.” Nymphadora is a well-known household name after appearing in the JK Rowlings Harry Potter series.
Narcissa, the youngest of all three, made a respectable marriage after graduating Hogwarts, and into another pure-blood family. It was Lucius Malfoy, a Death Eater, who brought Narcissa into the darker side of the wizarding world – but tellingly, Narcissa never became a Death Eater herself.
They became engaged in her final year at Hogwarts. During this year, Narcissa became pregnant and miscarried. She was distraught and uncertain of what to tell Lucius, as she had not told him of her pregnancy.
Narcissa Malfoy, exhausted but radiant, cradled her newborn daughter in her arms. The baby's skin was as pale as hers, and her tiny fingers were weakly gripping her mother's finger. Lucius Malfoy, a figure often emanating coldness, was instantly smitten by the sight of his fragile daughter.
Narcissa and her husband, Lucius Malfoy, appear to have an affectionate relationship. He gave in to her wishes when she wanted their son to attend Hogwarts, rather than Durmstrang. Narcissa and Lucius both enjoyed being members of the social elite, and loved and spoiled their only child.
In the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," which has become part of "Harry Potter" canon, it was revealed that Bellatrix conceived a child with none other than Lord Voldemort.
Who is Delphini raised by? After the deaths of her parents, Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange, Delphini is raised by Euphemia Rowle, who was not fond of her and allegedly only took her because she was offered a substantial amount of gold.
Before her death, Bellatrix secretly gave birth to an illegitimate daughter named Delphini, whom she conceived with her beloved master, Lord Voldemort. Delphini was conceived sometime after the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in 1996 and before the Skirmish at Malfoy Manor in 1998.
