Still reeling from his breakup with Tessa, Hardin heads to from Lisbon, Portugal to find a girl named Natalie (Mimi Keene). We learn that years prior, Hardin recorded him and Natalie sleeping together and the video got out, ruining Natalie's life.

The night of the campus bonfire, Hardin and Tessa confess that they love each other. Over the next few weeks, the dynamic between Tessa and Hardin seems to stabilize. They spend most nights together, and Tessa loses her virginity to Hardin.
