The first instance of a Disney movie getting a horror remake was Winnie-the-Pooh with 2023's Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. Now, Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare is currently in pre-production, as is an upcoming film re-imagining or continuing the tale of Bambi called Bambi: The Reckoning.
