While they tried to kill Daredevil, Elektra jumped in the way, getting stabbed and killed. In her last breaths, Elektra felt like she finally did some good. Elektra was held a funeral, which only Matt Murdock and Stick attended, but her corpse was later taken by the Hand to be resurrected.
Later, she was revealed to potentially be the Black Sky, the one who is supposed to lead the Hand. However, Elektra chose to help Murdock defeat the malevolent organization and was killed in the final fight with Nobu Yoshioka.
However, Elektra was left out of Daredevil season 3, and it seemed her story was over once Netflix and Marvel stopped working together. With the Multiverse Saga in full swing, however, there is now a much greater chance that Elodie Yung's Elektra could return — in the MCU.
Elektra has peek athletic abilities, martial arts skills, enhanced agility, and a master assassin. She also has been a member of the Heroes for Hire, Code Red, Red Hulk's Thunderbolts, S.H.I.E.L.D., Savage Avengers and the Hand.

Will Elektra be in Deadpool 3?
Nineteen years after starring as Elektra in the 2005 Daredevil spinoff, Jennifer Garner is returning to the role. On Friday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Garner will be playing the beloved superhero character in Deadpool 3, which is set to premiere in 2024.
181 (April 1982) Elektra is mortally wounded by the assassin Bullseye, a rival within the Kingpin's organization. She crawls to Murdock's home and dies in his arms. Elektra was soon resurrected, however, returning to life as a result of a mystical ceremony in Daredevil no. 190 (January 1983).
This reveal happened in 2007's New Avengers #31, by writer Brian Michael Bendis and penciler Leinil Francis Yu. Echo killed Elektra in battle, and upon death, Elektra was revealed to be a Skrull, shocking everyone.

Elektra Natchios was born on a Greek island near the Aegean Sea to Hugo Kostas Natchios and his wife Christina Natchios. Elektra's mother was gunned down while vacationing on a yacht. After her mother's death, Elektra grew up close to her father but was plagued by visions and voices with no known source.
The main character, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), became blind after an incident involving a chemical spill when he was a child. The accident gave him superhuman senses and the ability to navigate the world in a different way.
Another issue that that Elektra: Assassin is an Epic comic, and often—perhaps usually—Epic comics are not considered to be in the mainstream universe. For instance, in the letters page for Daredevil 322, the editor specifically says that Elektra Lives! was not canon and was thus put out by Epic.
Daredevil's relationships tend to end in tragedy. His first real love interest was Karen Page, the secretary at his law firm. While their relationship had its ups and downs, Karen was tragically killed by Bullseye, who also killed another one of his girlfriends, the lethal assassin Elektra.

Stick's protégée, Elektra Natchios, started out as a talented fighter on the side of the Chaste, but was asked to leave when her need for vengeance outweighs her pure and virtuous qualities. She failed to bring down the Hand single-handedly and later accidentally murdered Stick.
Alexandra Reid got word that the Hand obtained Elektra Natchios. She oversaw as a man dressed the corpse in red cloth and put her in a Resurrection Sarcophagus. Later, Elektra was resurrected and she crawled out of the sarcophagus.
For a time, Matt engages in a romantic relationship with fellow costumed adventurer Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow. The two remain close friends. Another romantic entanglement of Matt's, his secretary Karen Page, also holds an important spot in his heart.
