Despite the digital advancements by Mark-4 and Mark-5 Jaegers, like Gipsy Danger, Gipsy Avenger is outfitted with a Nuclear Vortex Turbine, and a smaller secondary turbine. Each hour, they generate enough energy to power the city of Chicago for an entire year.
All Mark-1 through Mark-3 Jaegers utilized nuclear reactors, which put their pilots at substantial risk of developing cancer. Gipsy Danger and Cherno Alpha were the last active nuclear-powered Jaegers to play a part in the continued defense of Hong Kong and mission to assault the Breach.

Overpowering Gipsy Danger, Knifehead breaches the right side of the Conn-Pod and tears away half of Gipsy Danger's head, killing Yancy in the process. As Knifehead begins to tear away at Gipsy Danger's armor, Raleigh is able to use the right Plasmacaster to kill the Kaiju once and for all.
It really depends. While King Kong might go down quickly if hit by danger's sword or cannon the way he would be written fighting giant monsters and the way he went around New York in the recent King Kong movie means he would probably be too agile and fast for danger.
Gipsy Danger is meant to represent the United States of America. The filmmakers have noted that the Jaeger's overall build, as well as the way it moves (particularly how it walks), are meant to be loosely evocative of an exaggerated Wild West-style gunslinger, which is a cultural trope strongly associated with the US.
Gipsy Avenger engages Obsidian Fury in a deadly duel. After a long battle, Gipsy Avenger finally destroys Obsidian Fury by punching the hybrid's chest, tearing out his power core. Gipsy Avenger then removes the faceplate from Obsidian Fury, only to discover the secondary brain of a Kaiju.
Summary. Despite the success of the first Pacific Rim film, the sequel underperformed at the box office and received negative reviews, leading to the cancelation of Pacific Rim 3.
