There's little to no blood except for two scenes. The choking scenes are pretty disturbing. Overall, older kids or teens who already are mature enough and know what sex is and can handle it would enjoy this movie. The violence could deter this though.
This movie is absolutely not for kids. At this point, I don't think they are ever going to stop making “Halloween” movies. This one, though, stood out as disappointing. Language, first of all, includes many uses of “s--t” and “f--k”, and there are very few scenes free of violence.
Parents need to know that this sequel to 2007's Halloween remake is brutally violent, grotesquely explicit, and terrifyingly violent. There are innumerable scenes of killing, and it says a lot about the movie's savagery and viciousness that they're still grim even though it's not particularly well made.

Halloween 1978 is the OG Slasher, and is the best movie in all of Halloween's or Scream's franchises. However, in terms of series as a whole, Scream is better. It has better world building, and is more engaging to the audience as slasher mystery. Halloween as a series is just a gratuitous slasher experience.
One thing that should be noted is that the Saw series gets more graphic, sadistic, and disturbing as it goes on. Saw, Saw 2, and, Jigsaw, are probably okay for teens 16 and older. The other ones are NOT okay for anyone who is not an adult. Another thing is that this movie is definitely not okay for ALL 15 year-olds.
Due to his ruthless nature, unsettling behavior, almost demonic haunting demeanor, and even more surprisingly his lack of a tragic or sympathetic backstory to give a clear reason for his actions, Michael is considered to be the embodiment of pure evil.
Jason Voorhees tops the list as the most dangerous serial killer. Through 12 movies, he manages over 150 kills! Just don't go camping on Friday the 13th and you should be able to avoid this monster.
To say that any of the "Halloween" films are inspired by one or several true crimes, then, might be a bit of a stretch. But the genius of Carpenter's character is that Myers draws on several legends, which, themselves, are only tenuously linked to actual events.
For instance, The Cult of Thorn storyline from the original movie track implies that Michael Myers isn't human. At six years old, he became a pawn, and with the first sacrifice of Judith, his soul got infected by the murderous being worshiped by the cult. As such, he might not be able to communicate like a human does.
Violence is extremely strong and over the top, with lots of blood: spurts, sprays, and gurgles. Expect to see guns and shooting, characters dying, repeated stabbings, fighting, kicking, and punching, etc.
