On Jan. 1, Renner was run over by his Sno-Cat, a large snow plow that weighs at least 14,330 pounds, as he attempted to help his 27-year-old nephew, Alex Fries, free a pickup truck lodged in the snow. When Renner exited his Sno-Cat to check on Fries, the vehicle kept moving.
When asked specifically about reprising his role as Hawkeye, Renner said, “I'm always game. I'm gonna be strong enough, that's for sure. I'll be ready. All those guys come to my bedside and they've been with me all along through this recovery, so … if they want me, they could have me.
At the 10-month mark of his recovery, Renner shared a video that showed him skipping down his inclined driveway and running back up it, the Deseret News reported. Renner has also shared with his fans that he undergoes hyperbaric oxygen therapy twice a day, per People.
