Why can't Bruce become Hulk?
A Marvel fan seems to have figured out the real reason why Bruce Banner—played by Mark Ruffalo—could not transform into Hulk at will in last year's Avengers: Infinity War. Hulk was being too difficult to control for Bruce Banner in Avengers: Infinity War.
The reasoning could be due to a decline in his gamma levels over the years. Exposure to so many enemies along with his trip through space may have weakened the Hulk to the point that he could bond with Bruce in Endgame, thus making the Professor persona appear much weaker.
