I understand that some kids are more sensitive to other things and that's why common sense made the little things seem big. I said 12+ but really it doesn't matter. If you think you or your kid are mature enough to handle swearing or violence then I say go for it.

It's now been revealed that the film, which is PG-13 in the US , was originally designed to be more graphic, but had some gory content erased in an attempt to lure in a younger audience – a tactic that has paid off.

With that said, there are still some horror fans who would've preferred to see M3GAN in all of its R-rated glory before the cuts trimmed it down to a PG-13 rating. Akela Cooper, who co-wrote the script based on a story co-written with Wan, also falls into this category.

This will probably be one of my fav thrillers of the year! Blumhouse did a amazing job making this movie scary but not scary enough for a R rating. It landed a PG-13 Rating. Overall super exciting and I totally would recommend this film!

Aside from much more gore, M3GAN Unrated has a lot more explicit language, particularly from certain angry characters like Gemma's boss David (Ronny Chieng) and Brandon the bully at Cady's camp (Jack Cassidy), and even M3GAN has one F-bomb towards the movie's big climax.
The film follows M3GAN's journey as she becomes more aware of her surroundings and goes to extreme lengths to protect her primary user, Cady. To our delight, it doesn't take long before M3GAN turns into a murderous doll, always focused on shielding Cady from harm.
WILL M3GAN BE ON NETFLIX? No, M3GAN will not be available on Netflix — at least not anytime soon, since it will be heading straight to Peacock after its theatrical release.
