Critics Reviews It's impossible to dislike NYSM2, a big blousy movie that is giddily in love with its own preposterousness. Content collapsed. Now You See Me 2 is marginally better than its underwhelming 2013 predecessor thanks to new cast additions, but still over-explains and under-delivers.
The plot becomes so far fetched and random, events happening so conveniently that it loses believability, which is the key that made the first film great. There are some scenes in here that's good, but most of the time I am left to wonder when the film is going to end.
The film reunites the talented ensemble cast, including Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Lizzy Caplan, who seamlessly step back into their roles as the illusionist thieves. Now You See Me 2 amps up the magic and spectacle with even more mind-boggling illusions and elaborate heists.
This was a pretty good movie, and I would say it's for teens. There is some mild language, and some action. The action isn't too intense, but I would agree with NETFLIX and say this movie deserves it's PG-13 age rating.
“Now You See Me 2” wants to expose the wires and strings behind these tricks, but only some of them; the rest you just have to take on faith. “Now You See Me 2” also wants to make magic cool, hip, contemporary and used in the service of something greater than just wonder and entertainment.

The film is always is entertaining with a great cast but the twists and turns get more and more silly as it goes on. Everything done with the Mark Ruffalo character makes no sense by the end I will just say.
