Encanto has a wealth of evidence that Casita is truly Abuelo Pedro. In addition to the house mirroring Abuel Pedro's sacrifice, the film lingers on Abuelo Pedro's portrait during the collapse, perhaps hinting that he's the person behind the magic.
The Casa Madrigal (mainly referred to as Casita) is a location from Disney's feature film, Encanto. It is the residence of the Madrigal family, and along with the magical gifts, the house was given to them by the candle.
Pedro Madrigal is a minor character in the 2021 Disney animated film Encanto. He is the late patriarch of the Madrigal family, husband of Alma Madrigal, father of triplets Julieta, Pepa and Bruno, and the grandfather of Isabela, Dolores, Luisa, Camilo, Mirabel, and Antonio.
Casita was destroyed after an argument between Abuela and Mirabel, in which Abuela blamed Mirabel for all the family's misfortunes because she doesn't have a gift, and along with Casita's destruction, the candle was extinguished, leaving the Madrigals powerless.
All Alma knows is that marauders were threatening her family and her village, and her husband Pedro sacrificed himself to save them. After Pedro dies, Alma receives a magical candle, an enchanted house, and her family members start to get special powers.

After a young Mirabel did not get a gift on the night of her gift ceremony, Abuela worried about the family's magic and asked Bruno to see what the future showed. He had a vision with two possible outcomes: Mirabel in front of Casa Madrigal, one with the house intact and the other with the house breaking.
Isabela especially does not get along with Mirabel. Both sisters are mutually jealous of each other's lives; Isabela envying Mirabel being unburdened by expectations whilst she bears the brunt of Alma's expectations. Unaware of how unhappy the other was than they let on, Isabela had a strained relationship with her.
Mirabel's gift is her intelligent determination, and she had that all along. While the ending reveals Mirabel as the future leader of the Madrigals, it's unclear why she never received powers.
As for Mirabel not getting a door during her ceremony, it;s widely acknowledged that Mirabel's “power” is as the guardian of the family's magic itself and Mirabel being Abuela's successor, so instead of getting her own room and door, Casita's front door became Mirabel's.
Luisa's secret room didn't make the final cut of Encanto, and there may be a reason. One of Encanto's most popular songs is "Surface Pressure," where Luisa sings about her struggles with carrying the family's burdens. But Luisa almost had an escape from those burdens after all.
Though Encanto doesn't explain the magic in the film, one sequence hints that Pedro's soul is behind the enchantment. During the movie, the Casa Madrigal, a.k.a. Casita, begins to crack, and the magical candle is in danger when the house starts to fall apart.
Abuela, then, doesn't see her family as individuals and family members but more as powerful gifts that add to the Madrigals' legacy and role in the town. Mirabel didn't get a gift because that would have rewarded Abuela for her manipulation, as she pushed for Mirabel to exist just to add more powers to the family.
However, it's not just the lie that makes Dolores a villain; it's the fact that she uses her gift to steer situations in the direction she wants them to go that likens her to one.
