Jake comes to the conclusion that Princess Bubblegum is jealous of Flame Princess and shares this with Finn. She confronts Finn the next day and attempts to console him, believing that he knew about the situation.
In "The Red Throne," she states that she does not trust her, but out of an unknown reason. In "The Cooler," Princess Bubblegum faked a disaster in the Fire Kingdom by hiring Ice King to freeze the core of the Fire Kingdom, weakening the life force of the flame citizens.

Does Finn like Flame Princess or Princess Bubblegum?
Finn admits to Flame Princess that he really likes her and they should be together, which causes her to glow brighter and makes small fires appear around her.
In the Fire Kingdom, Don John the Flame Lord shows up to tell Flame Princess she is not brutish enough to rule over the Flame subjects. Her father, the Flame King, appears as his daughter is deprived of her body temperature and crown. He tells Flame Princess he has arranged her marriage with Don John.
She forgives Finn for what he did to her, allows him to visit any time, but declines his offer to rekindle their romantic relationship. In "Bun Bun", Finn genuinely apologizes for the way he treated Flame Princess, and the two once again become friends.
In "To Cut a Woman's Hair," she says explicitly that she likes Finn, although she could have meant platonically or maternally. In "The Real You," she gives Finn a kiss on the cheek for saving the Candy Kingdom from the black hole he created and making her Science Barbecue a huge success.
He then decides to stage a fight between the two in real life to see if he can finish the dream. However, during the fight, Flame Princess destroys the Ice Kingdom and discovers that Finn set up the fight. Feeling betrayed, she breaks up with him.
Even though Marceline claimed she only likes Finn as a friend, Marshall Lee seemed to think Fionna liked him more than that. It is also possible that Marceline wrote it as a love story only to please the other princesses, but the former statement could hint at Marceline's feelings for Finn.
After she became her normal age again, Finn asked her out but she rejected him because he was too young for her. Finn and Princess Bubblegum's second kiss was in the episode "Wizard Battle" where Finn won the wizard battle by cheating and won the prize which was a kiss on the lips from Princess Bubblegum.
Does the Ice King have a crush on Princess Bubblegum?
Princess Bubblegum is Ice King's main love interest, but the relationship is one-sided. Since Finn had a crush on Princess Bubblegum before meeting Flame Princess, this made it even harder for Ice King to maintain any relationship that will last with her.
He states that he has grown watching her example and swears his loyalty to her. It was confirmed that he and Flame Princess are not dating by Cartoon Network's official Twitter page and by the writers and his proclamation of love for her is that of deep respect and not romantic.
Finn begins dating Flame Princess (Jessica DiCicco) in the third-season finale "Incendium", after realizing that Princess Bubblegum is too old to be compatible with him. Although Flame Princess' fiery nature makes their relationship difficult, they try to make it work. Finn and Flame Princess eventually break up.
The doctors reassemble her but lack all the necessary pieces to put her back together, reducing her age to 13 (the same age as Finn at the time). According to Adam Muto, her body was composed of only enough reclaimed biomass to be an adolescent, and therefore she turned into one.

Eventually, as by this time, Finn believes there is no way to escape the Pillow World, Finn abandons his relationship with Flame Princess to start a new life with Roselinen, having two kids named Jay and Bonnie.

In the confusion, Flame Princess is nearly killed by rain, but Finn saves her. When she regains her powers, she slaps him, warning him never to mess with her. The episode concludes with Finn noting that he now has a crush on Flame Princess.
In Lima, Will and Finn duet on "Bye Bye Bye" and "I Want It That Way", and although Will forgives Finn, he tells Finn that their relationship can never be the same.
