Seems with the language it should have been rated pg 13, but them they wouldn't reach their target audience of 5 to 13. Overall,my kid really enjoyed it but just a heads up to parents who care about the language their children are hearing.

the franchise is mainly aimed at young boys overall. But ofc Sonic the Hedgehog is one of those franchises that can appeal to all. Sonic is really for everybody at the end of the day.
This game is 3+ and over and no it is intended for everybody over that age including yourself and I recommend to buy that game again, its truly amazing.

Sonic Prime is rated TV-Y7, which is very similar to a PG-rated movie. It works for children seven and over, but it could be suitable for younger ages with parental guidance.
