When the movie was released in China it was censored due to the Chinese government wanting to make it more family friendly. As a result, nudity was removed from the film.
Despite the length of the feature film, which is three hours and 14 minutes, there were scenes that were removed from the final product. These scenes surround the supporting characters of 'Titanic' who, despite not having much weight in the film, close out their respective plots.
The film's IMAX & Blu-ray 3D release presents the film open-matte, at an aspect ratio of 1.78:1, meaning there was more picture information visible in the top and bottom of the frame than in normal theaters and on standard home video releases.
