Odin used his godly powers to disguise himself as Tyr, and spent the whole game spying on Kratos, Atreus and Freya. Odin makes his grand revelation by stabbing and killing Brok.
Here you'll find a startling revelation—Tyr is still alive and was imprisoned in Asgard the whole time. Miraculously, the destruction of the realm threw him across the realms and into Niflheim (though he is still confined to his cell).

Once Brok made everyone around him similarly doubt the disguise, this forced Odin's hands and led to the All-Father killing the dwarf before making his escape.

Freya says he can go to Sindri's house but he actually goes to Freyr's camp and practices tai-chi. You can find him meditating and relaxing in most of the other realms too, so have a look around and see where you can spot him.
With the help of clues that Atreus had found, they figured out his exact location; the realm of the Dwarves, Svartalfheim. Once in the dwarven realm, they discovered Týr's prison in the mines and freed him. However, the duo had no idea that the "Tyr" they had found was actually Odin.
Kratos cuts his story short as he realizes Atreus is asleep. In the quiet tent, he starts to cry as he watches his son sleep. If the seer Groa's prophecy is true, Kratos will die at Ragnarok, leaving Atreus alone. Finally drifting off to sleep, Kratos' dream seems to be a memory.
Odin impersonated Tyr, but the true Norse god of war is still alive. Descending through the prison you will face off against enemies and puzzles. Along the way, you will encounter some of the incarcerated inhabitants of the prison.
After completing the main story, players will be able to find the real Tyr in the Aesir Prison Wreckage area of Niflheim as part of the Broken Prison favor, which becomes available when players visit the Raven Tree after completing the game.
Atreus and Loki have always been one in the same character in God of War, but the name has far less significance to both Kratos and Atreus than it does to the audience. Loki, as it was revealed, was the name that Kratos' wife, Faye, wanted to give Atreus when he was born.
The big, late-game plot twist in God of War Ragnarok is that Týr, the one you rescued early in the game, is not actually the Norse god of war but rather Odin in disguise. While the trickery was caught when Týr kept calling Atreus, Loki, the developers hid a tell the moment you meet him.
Despite tolerating Kratos' presence at the funeral, Sindri rejects his condolences and is last seen completely dejected before disappearing into the Realm Between Realms.
Tyr would still suffer side effects from his imprisonment and reluctant to get involved. But he might help the others journey to other realms and enlist their help. He might think uniting all the other realms would be a deterrent against Asgard.
When he suggested that they try and bring Brok back like what Sindri did in the past, Mimir sadly reveals that because Brok's soul lacked his fylgia - his direction, it is unable to reach the Lake of Souls in Alfheim and as such, he cannot enter an afterlife.
Unfortunately, Sindri could only bring back most of Brok's soul—not all of it. As a result, when Brok died the second time around, there was no afterlife. He's just gone, and it's why Sindri snaps at the end of Ragnarok. Brok is physically dead, but Sindri is now emotionally dead, too.
As previously stated, Sindri claimed that Brok is banned from Alfheim for teaching the Elves about a “Juicy Nokken.” However, Sindri only said that the Elves know about the mysterious term thanks to Brok.
