Fueled by Tom Hardy and his passion for the source material, "Venom: Let there be carnage" is a massive triumph in terms of fan service and dark comedy that mostly hits.
Carnage is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an adversary of Spider-Man and the archenemy of his father Venom, in particular the Eddie Brock incarnation of the character, although Carnage and Venom have joined forces when their goals have aligned.

Did Venom become stronger after eating Carnage?
The idea that he would become stronger after eating Carnage seems to come from an idea that he would be absorbing Carnage's symbiote powers and properties into himself, therefore becoming stronger. However, unlike the mutant powers of Rogue, Venom is not absorbing Carnage but consuming him.
It could be that in the universe of the Venom movies, this type of strong bond is already known among the symbiotes to result in stronger specimens. This could explain why Venom is so fearful of facing an enemy with a ruddy hue.
But a post-credits scene does not save a bland movie that is hard to find enjoyment in. “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is a failure on all fronts due to a misunderstanding of the first film's comedic success and a lackluster plot.
When a symbiote offspring of Eddie Brock, AKA Venom, merges with serial killer Cletus Kasady, the result is the nightmarish murdering menace known as Carnage! Reborn from an alien creature, he's a more psychotic and dangerous being that spawns a family of symbiotes.
Subverts his tragedy of being abused as a child with his murders of millions of innocent people. Even then, he proved to be terrible from the start, since he already had homicidal thoughts as a child, and even killed some animals when he was young showing no remorse for these acts.
Personality. Carnage is a sentient being of pure evil, shown by how moments after the symbiote was born it wreaked havoc in Prison during its escape. Carnage also has a deep hatred for its father, Venom, wanting to kill him so that he could be the only symbiote on the planet and thus unstoppable.
The sonic noise also harms the symbiote and causes Venom to cower away from Hulk in agony. While Venom is down, Hulk informs him that he's here to help the earthquake victims and the two heavy-weights finally see eye-to-eye and agree to work together. Leaving the Hulk as the winner of the fight.
Since his debut however, Venom has evolved into an antiheroic figure, slowly distancing himself from his initial goal to ruin Spider-Man's life to try and do good instead, even putting aside his differences with and helping Spider-Man at times.
In the present, he attempts to use Eddie Brock to investigate Cletus Kasady, but is seemingly killed during a battle between the Venom and Carnage symbiotes and Barrison. However, he absorbs a piece of one of the symbiotes, which later revives him and causes his eyes to glow blue.
Going into developing Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Hardy has mentioned the creative team took the criticisms of its predecessor to deliver a better follow-up and a shorter runtime would certainly fix one of the biggest critiques regarding Ruben Fleischer's "unfocused" direction and the inconsistent tone of the first.
