One f-word and about 15 s-words. We also hear “a–,” “b–ch,” “b–tard,” “crap,” “g-dd–n,” “d–n,” “h—” and the British profanities “bloody” and “bugger.” Jesus' name is abused once.
Unnecessary swearing throughout the movie as well. It's extremely mean spirited, violent and disgusting. And they now speak fluent English as well as fluent dirty slangs. Definitely not appropriate for any kids under 13.
There is much less language than there was in the first, with the exception of one f word near the end. There is nudity (for anyone who wants to have their kids look away, it is near the beginning when the kids visit the lab. The scene moves to a tube holding an avatar.
Avatar: The Way of Water has some nudity and sexual activity. For example: The indigenous peoples are mostly naked but their genitals are covered. A woman's breast is briefly seen as she breastfeeds her baby.

It's a PG13 movie. It has a bit of swearing (military characters talking like military characters), and the native Na'vi dress like people tend to dress in tropical climates with low nudity taboos. Really, it comes down to how you think your kids can handle this kind of thing.
There isn't any sexual content in the movie, however, the native Na'vi women wear beads that barely cover their chests, so we often see lots of views of them with just the nipple covered (and one scene of a nude avatar floating in a tank where we briefly see the nipples).
The movie is rated PG-13. That means ANY child below 13 can come in as long as he is accompanied by a parent. The burden is really on us to decide what is age-appropriate for our children.

Violence includes: Killing and hunting animals, shooting, explosions and knife fights. In an early scene, a wave of exhaust from spaceships scorches several trees. This is intense. Some sky people are shot through the chest with arrows.
Avatar: the Last Airbender is a really fun and entertaining show. I will say though, that some parents may not find the content appropriate for young children. There is war and battles the entire series, which I would advise you look at before you (possibly) allow your child(ren) to watch this show.
