Now Sleepy, Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy, Happy or Dopey cannot be used - but the show will go on as they have been renamed Snuggles, Big Wig, Grouchy, Shy One, Atishoo and Chuckles.
Disney's forthcoming live-action “Snow White” is under fire for being so “politically correct” that it's reimagining the seven dwarfs as “magical creatures” of all sizes and genders.

Detractors have complained that Zegler isn't right for the character, saying that in the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Snow White is described as being “white as snow.” Zegler, 22, addressed her casting in a Variety interview with actor Andrew Garfield early last year.
However, it appears that Disney is approaching the seven dwarf characters in a new way in order to avoid reiterating prejudices from the first animated feature. The lead actress Zegler also hinted at the story's contemporary revisions meant to appeal to the progressive audience during the D23 event.
Why is Disney removing the dwarfs from the ride? It comes down to the controversy from the live-action Snow White. Disney deemed it offensive to have dwarfs in a movie, even if it's core to the story. However, there was a ton of backlash, but also a ton of support.

Snow White can be classified as having Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Princess meets all eight of the criteria listed in the DSM-V to diagnose PTSD (See Appendix A). First, she directly experiences a traumatic event relating to a near death experience (Criterion A1).

The Brothers Grimm published their book in 1812, featuring the story of Sneewittchen (Snow White). The tale contained many of the elements we know and love today, such as the magic mirror, the poisoned apple, the glass coffin, and the characters of the Evil Queen and the Seven Dwarfs.
