Elsa (Idina Menzel) demonstrates traits of paranoid personality disorder. She is definitely guarded and suspicious. She is so scared her powers will hurt someone again that she closes herself off. Also, she does not want to strike others with “fear”; Elsa wants to be accepted, not chased away.
But is it healthy? In Part I of the Frozen series, I suggested that Elsa experiences something like borderline personality disorder (BPD). In this interpretation, Elsa's frozen rages are an outward display of the emotional dysregulation she feels inside.
Anna's parents rush her to the sacred realm, where discussions with the trolls reveal that Elsa was born with her powers/ depigmentation and deafness, rather than them being due to illness or accident. Grand Pabbie troll heals Anna but removes her memories of Elsa's magic.
Borderline personality disorder is one of the most painful mental illnesses since individuals struggling with this disorder are constantly trying to cope with volatile and overwhelming emotions.
Intertwined with the emotional dysregulation of borderline personality disorder are instances of emotional instability, bursts of anger, intense efforts to avoid real or perceived abandonment, and unstable interpersonal relationships, all of which abound in Frozen.

What mental illness does Olaf have?
The result of this research shows that Count Olaf has a personality disorder called antisocial personality disorder. Antisocial personality disorder is also known as psychopathy, sociopathy, or dyssocial personality.
Although Elsa's disability is encoded as a magical ice power, the language the film uses to talk about her condition maps on to the experiences of people with physical, mental, and intellectual disabilities in recognizable ways.
The psychopathology Arthur exhibits is unclear, preventing diagnosis of psychotic disorder or schizophrenia; the unusual combination of symptoms suggests a complex mix of features of certain personality traits, namely psychopathy and narcissism (he meets DSM-5 criteria for narcissistic personality disorder).
With quiet BPD, you'll likely try to hide these symptoms from others, resulting in intense periods of anger, guilt, or shame directed toward yourself. You may hide impulsive behaviors or try to repress your moods. You might also withdraw or isolate from others.
These severe and persistent mental illnesses include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, other severe forms of depression, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Elsa, however, is risk-averse, anxious, and self-doubting. This is her biggest test. She must accept her crown and scepter with ungloved hands. Should she slip up or let her emotions overwhelm her, she may let the magic out, revealing who she really is.
Maleficent, the evil lady from Sleeping Beauty is one of the evilest characters of Dinsey. She suffered from Borderline personality disorder (BPD) which means a person has inappropriate or extreme emotional reactions, is highly impulsive and has a history of unstable relationships.
With only a fruitcake, Olaf journeys into the woods, and is attacked by vicious wolves while traversing through. He narrowly escapes them, but loses the fruitcake shortly thereafter to a hawk. Depressed at having failed Anna and Elsa, Olaf wanders into the night, depressed, and figures it would be best to remain lost.
And while Elsa has PTSD, Anna suffers from a similar, yet very different, ordeal. Hit in the head by ice, and then mind-wiped, Anna has a lack of coordination, lack of balance, an extremely overly-impulsive attitude, poor judgement, compulsive behavior, and lack of memory. Anna has a traumatic brain injury.
Individuals with BPD often experience intense mood swings, impulsivity, and difficulty regulating emotions. Autism, on the other hand, is a neurodevelopmental disorder primarily characterized by difficulties in social communication and interaction, repetitive behaviors, and restricted interests.
Can BPD be confused with autism? Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and borderline personality disorder (BPD) may share several features — including an imbalance in the different types of empathy and challenges with interpersonal skills — which can lead to a misdiagnosis in some cases.
Conversely, those with Quiet BPD tend to internalize their struggles. Rather than projecting their emotions outwardly, they direct these feelings towards themselves. This internalization can manifest as self-blame, self-isolation, or even self-harm.
Personality Disorder, specifically, Histrionic Personality Disorder plays a key part in Harley Quinn's life. People with Histrionic Personality Disorder are “pervasive and excessive emotionally and display attention-seeking behavior” (Bornstein 1998).
