Wink is a supporting character in the 2021 live-action Disney film, Cruella. He is a light brown chihuahua with one injured eye that is usually covered by a patch. He serves as the companion to Horace Badun.
Bobby, the actor portrayed Buddy, was a stray prior to the filming of Cruella, but found a home after production finished. During the scene where Buddy unties Cruella, Bobby actually did succeed in untying Emma Stone, though the moment was cut from the film since John was supposed to save Cruella instead.
One of the secrets to Wink's success on screen is that the dog can be in multiple places at once. Five different dogs portrayed Wink in Cruella, including several rescue pups. April Mackin trained several of the canines that played the Wink role and found that each dog actor had their own personality.
Although we meet Anita and Roger early in Cruella, they don't have their dogs until the tail end, when Cruella inexplicably gifts them each puppies, named Perdita and Pongo.

What does a dog winking mean?
"Winking can be a sign of affection, that the dog is at peace, seeking attention, or possibly mimicking their owner if this is an action they do frequently," says Dr. Conrad. Dogs may even wink to signify submission to another human or dog.
Fluffy first appears at the beginning of the movie when Cruella is released from her conviction. Alonzo gives Fluffy to Cruella as a present. She mistakes his growling for "smiling" and names him Fluffy, despite having a lack of fur. He is often seen growling whenever Cruella is around.

It is there the movie arbitrarily suggests Cruella de Vil's eventual obsession with Dalmatians is because that breed of dog was used as a literal murder weapon in the death of her mother.
Though Jasper and Horace carry out Cruella's deeds, they only do it for money and not for enjoyment. Horace fears her wrath, but Jasper shows no respect for Cruella due to often being annoyed with her bossiness. This makes Cruella despise Jasper more than Horace.
