In Elemental the Easter egg is a bit more subtle as it is featured on a sign in Element city that has 'A H AI' written on it, the latter two representing the elements Hydrogen and Aluminium. On the periodic table, Hydrogen is the number 1 and Aluminium is the number 13.
There is also a more standard A113 Easter egg in Elemental that is similar in form to past Pixar movies. A113 is seen as the room number for the Department of Departments office in City Hall.
Pixar's newest movie was full of Easter eggs and callbacks to other films, including the Luxo ball. The ball appears on Wade's red and white box of popcorn, as he and Ember watch a movie together. It can be seen as the "O" in popcorn.
The film is dedicated to Pixar animators Ralph Eggleston, Thomas Gonzales, Amber Martorelli, and J. Garrett Sheldrew, all of whom died in 2022. As a tribute to Eggleston, a sign reading "Eat at Ralph's - Two cents" is seen in Element City.

Ember Lumen (Leah Lewis) anxiously awaits the day that she can take over her father's shop, The Fireplace, so that he can finally retire and rest after a lot of hard work and sacrifice moving her and her mother away from Fireland to Element City for a better life.
Worse still for the consistently experimental and technologically innovative animation studio, the reviews for Elemental were decidedly middling to unkind: “dull-witted and syrupy” (Deadline); “the story beats are overly familiar” (Los Angeles Times); “The movie looks good … but its undercooked concept is a problem” ( ...
Releasing in front of Elemental is a new short that catches up with Carl Fredricksen (voice of Ed Asner) and his lovable talking dog, Dug (voice of Bob Peterson), who were introduced in Pixar's Oscar-winning feature Up.
There, Ember and the audience meet Wade's sibling, Lake (who in Elemental – The Junior Novelization is introduced as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns) and their girlfriend, Ghibli (a clear reference to the beloved Studio Ghibli), and they are the only two LGBTQ+ characters in Elemental.
Ghibli is a very open-minded water woman who did not hold any prejudice against other elements as she warmly greeted Ember Lumen during a dinner with the Ripples. Due to her relationship with Lake, the Ripple family treats Ghibli as one of their own, even though she isn't biologically related to them.
Ava Hauser is not directly credited as the voice of Lake and is simply listed under Additional voices. Nevertheless, Hauser was confirmed to be the voice of Lake. Besides Wade and Ember appearing in the teaser trailer, Lake is the only other named element to appear in the teaser.
Easter egg (media) is a term used to describe a message, image or feature hidden in a video game, film, or other that's usually an electronic medium. It's those little sneaky hidden messages in your favourite film that you love to spot and makes you go “ahhhh, clever!”.
As most would guess, it refers to a hollowed-out or hard-boiled egg, dyed or painted for decoration. It can also refer to an egg-shaped item, like a container or a chocolate, given as an Easter-time gift. It's believed that Easter eggs have been associated with the celebration of Easter since the 1200s.
Things like flower pots, unused grills, and under cushions are great places to hide eggs. Check inside anything you see, and look under cushions to see if there are any eggs there. Inside the house, look inside vases, potted plants, and candle holders, for instance.
In short, Wade is killed by his love's essence—fire—and saved by his own essence, water. The tears are his person, his being, and his deliverance. As the scene cohered, it struck me that all those (re)generative tears are a metaphor for what Pixar has lost.

Meyers will love him. Carl relaxes and gets himself ready. Dug then offers to go along as backup and Carl agrees. Before leaving, Carl speaks to Ellie's photo and tells her that he is going on a new adventure, and that she will always be his girl.
In Elemental there is a poster advertising a space club which is a reference to Elio, but Ream shares that the main Easter egg is actually a character: "That's in the water stadium. That one's fun, that's one of my favourites."
But there's one thing I didn't mention in that story, a detail that makes a night out at Elemental even more dispiriting, and makes me just slightly more nervous about Pixar's future: Carl's Date, the short that plays before Elemental, is lousy—the worst theatrical short Pixar has ever made. Yes, worse than Lava!
However, thanks to positive word of mouth, the movie only dropped small percentages each weekend and stayed in theaters for almost two months. As a result, Elemental made a profit after its box office comeback. It boasts a total worldwide gross of $425 million. Even still, Disney still needs to do better.
In Zootopia's case, anthropomorphic animals are divided along the predator vs. prey line. In Elemental, Element City is home to beings made of water, earth, air and fire. Both films also focus on characters from two different factions overcoming their personal biases and working together.
