The Big Picture. Devon Sawa keeps returning to Chucky because he is a talented actor and beloved by the cast and crew, willing to endure crazy deaths. Sawa's consistent reappearance provides a connection for returning fans while also welcoming new viewers.
Eight years after Chucky's second demise, the Play Pals company resumes manufacturing Good Guy dolls and re-opens the abandoned factory. A splash of blood from Chucky's corpse is inadvertently mixed in with the molten plastic being used to produce the dolls, reviving him in an updated body.
Chucky catches up and presses the detonator, killing Gary. Jake, Devon, and Lexy are blamed for the child's unfortunate death and, at the recommendation of Dr. Mixter, are sent to the Catholic School of the Incarnate Lord where they can reflect on their sins and turn their lives around.
Movies. The Three Technicians are employees at Play Pals, two of them are in the beginning of Child's Play 2, working at the company around the time when Mr. Sullivan wanted the Chucky doll repaired. The third one was working the night shift at the end of Child's Play 2.
Six months later, Jake now lives with a foster family in Salem, New Jersey, with his younger foster brother Gary. Both Jake and Devon suddenly receive threatening phone calls from Chucky, who reveals he is outside Lexy's house.
Before he can do it though, Chucky kills Ardmore, allowing Andy to escape the hospital. Andy makes it back to the apartment, but Chucky follows him. Chucky knocks him unconscious with a baseball bat and begins the ritual to transfer his soul. Luckily Norris and Karen burst in just in time to save Andy.
He sees his rivalry with Andy as a sick game. Andy is really the only one who can stop Chucky and if Andy is out of his life, then there's no challenge for Chucky. Even when he was being tortured by Andy, Chucky still saw the fun in messing with him like laughing at his failed attempt to prove Nica's innocence in Cult.
Six years after the events of Seed of Chucky, Tiffany's soul still possesses actress Jennifer Tilly's body. She does not appear on-screen until it is revealed that she was the one responsible for mailing Chucky out to Nica's home, facilitating his murder spree on the family he blames for his human death.
