What happened to the Infinity Gauntlet after the snap?
Once Thanos revealed that he had destroyed them, an enraged Thor decapitated him. With all hope of undoing the Snap seemingly gone, the Avengers left the planet, leaving the charred and useless Gauntlet behind to rust.
Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones, reducing them to atoms with another snap of his fingers. The Infinity Stones exist in alternate realities in the MCU, such as in the TVA and Marvel Studios' What If...?, and there are other Stones from the comics that haven't been seen in live-action yet.

Another choice made specifically to increase the coin drop: there was no end to the game. Gauntlet would recycle levels by flipping them horizontally and vertically once the players had run through all of them. Gauntlet was a big success in 1985.
What did Tony Stark do with the Infinity Gauntlet?
In Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark made the ultimate sacrifice in the final battle against Thanos. In order to defeat the Mad Titan once and for all, Tony stole the Infinity Stones from the Nano Gauntlet and collected them into his Iron Man armor.
In the Infinity War ending, the Avengers try to stop him, eventually killing Vision in order to destroy the Mind Stone inside his head. On Earth, the Snap led to a five-year period in which the world fell into societal collapse and many countries abandoned their national borders. In 2023, the victims of the Snap were resurrected by the Avengers, after they went back in time to alternate timelines to acquire their own set of Infinity Stones.

He calls forth his armies, but the Avengers' restored allies arrive and engage Thanos and his army in a final battle. After a struggle, Thanos obtains the Stark Nano Gauntlet, but Stark distracts him to wield the Stones himself. Stark then snaps his fingers, causing Thanos and his army to be Blipped, which kills him.
Upon learning that Annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, Thanos tried to release Galactus. Most unfortunately, Drax showed up and ripped out Thanos's heart, killing him.
Thanos simply turned to The Other and smiled, showing not only that he was willing to challenge them but it was also a nod to Thanos' relationship with Death in the comics.

Given time, Tony could have found a more dramatic way to get the job done, but a snap was the best quick solution. Tony Stark probably just wished for Thanos' army to fade to dust.
