When the conflict ended, the clone troopers who survived the Clone Wars went on to serve the Empire as the first generation of Imperial stormtroopers on the decree of the Emperor. They formed the backbone of the Imperial Army during the early years of the Imperial Era.
During the first years of Imperial rule, the clones acted as Stormtroopers, but eventually, cloning production halted, and the Empire began recruiting regular humans instead. Due to their accelerated growth, the remaining clones were deemed unfit for military duty and retired.
The last batch of clones were born and trained and sent off-world (who would eventually become Purge Troopers, check Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith - The Burning Seas). The current clone army was slowly phased out over the rest of the year as stormtroopers were trained and fitted for combat.
Then, in Revenge of the Sith, the clones did an about-face, slaughtering Jedi after Order 66 — an embedded protocol that forced the clones to carry out the executions — was implemented. However, when the action picks up 19 years later in A New Hope, the clones are mysteriously gone, replaced by human stormtroopers.
At the time, many clones did not see it this way, due to the inhibitor chip forcing their hand in destroying the Jedi. However, Star Wars has made it clear when focusing on the clones after Order 66 that they slowly regretted their actions after their nightmares came to pass.
The 501st was absorbed into the Imperial Military, becoming a legion of the Stormtrooper Corps, which transitioned to the use of human recruits after the Empire suspended the cloning operation on Kamino.
It's possible Cody had rationalized his actions during Order 66 by telling himself it had been necessary and would not happen again, but now he was brought face-to-face with the Empire's ongoing atrocities. Cody abandoned the Empire, apparently one of many clone troopers who deserted in the months that followed.
Fox, also identified by his clone designation CT-0000/1010, was a loyal clone trooper who fought as a soldier in the Grand Army of the Republic throughout the length of the Clone Wars. By 19 BBY, he was serving as a Clone Sergeant in the 501st Legion on the Republic's capital, Coruscant.
That would be Kix. Due to his being frozen in stasis by the Separatists, he survived for 50 years after the end of the Clone Wars before being awakened by a pirate gang several years before the events of the sequel trilogy.
The two clones actually met their demise in the same arc. Hardcase and Waxer. In my opinion the saddest death was 99's death and every time I see it I can't help but tear up. The second saddest was 5's he died because everyone thought he was crazy about order 66 when really the Kaminoan drugged him.
Most battles in the clone wars didn't involve clones or droids, according to The Essential Guide To Warfare, and most of the battles involving clones weren't in the show. So considering there were about 3.5 million clones, it seems reasonable that 700,000-900,000 clones died given the intensity of the warfare.
According to Imperial Estimates in Star Wars Inside #87, only about 100 of the Jedi survived Order 66. Most were subsequently hunted down and killed in the years following the Great Jedi Purge.
Hemlock, Rampart, and Nala Se die, but surprisingly, Clone Force 99 all survive this final battle. The time jump after they are back on Pabu suggests that the Empire did indeed stop their search for Omega and the rest of the "specimens" from Project Necromancer.
The Alpha-Class ARC Troopers were the deadliest clones in the Republic army. They were trained personally by Jango Fett and lacked the mental modifications other clone troopers had received. Their free-thinking nature meant many Alpha clone troopers refused to follow Order 66.
The assassin droid HK-47 also became a notorious Jedi hunter during this time period. General Grievous was among the greatest and most feared Jedi hunters, personally killing numerous Jedi in lightsaber combat during the course of the Clone Wars.
The 7th Sky Corps was a corps of the Grand Army of the Republic under the joint command of Clone marshal commander Cody and High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Though they managed to escape before the vessel's destruction, their shuttle was severely damaged after crash landing on another unknown world in the Atoa system. Vader, Voca and eight stormtroopers survived the crash; the rest of the 501st soldiers were dead.
But these complaints often ignore the sheer number of Jedi who did die during Order 66 and shortly afterward. We are talking about, at least, a few thousand. Considering how few survivors there are—less than 100 as of 2023—the actual death toll is probably closer to nine thousand or so. That's still a lot of dead Jedi!
Vader did not hunt for Yoda in any cinematic depiction. He and Sidious could not find Yoda as he had exiled himself on the planet Dagobah which had strong dark side energy that masked Yoda's presence in the Force.
These clones help the crew of the Ghost in their fight against the Empire, and eventually join the Rebel Alliance. Rebels established that in the years after the Clone Wars, the Empire gradually replaced the aging clones with the less effective but more numerous stormtroopers.
