As Chris enters the police car, Rose can only watch him and Rod drive away as she succumbs to her injuries, ending her family's insidious plans forever. With the entire Armitage family dead, the Coagula presumably dissolves, as well, preventing the cult's members from hijacking the bodies of future African-Americans.
Though things seem bleak for him, Chris manages to escape the house and kills the Armitages, one by one, until only Rose remains. Chris chooses not to kill Rose, even though she was fatally shot, but when a police car rolls in, both he and the viewer assume the worst.
The Original Ending of 'Get Out' Was Way More Depressing
Police sirens arrive, briefly scaring the audience as Rose starts crying for help with Chris in a compromising and guilty position. Luckily, the driver of the police car is revealed to be Chris' friend Rod (Lil Rel Howery), who has come to rescue him.

When did you realize that Rose was not on Chris side?
I realized that Rose was not on Chris' side as soon as the movie revealed it at the key scene. I believe the movie was very good at keeping Rose's intentions a secret, because when I originally watched the movie I never expected anything, and it caught me by surprise when it came out.
Rose finally answers Rod on Chris's phone, and, as a panicking Rod interrogates her to see if she knows where Chris is, Rose comes up with mediocre lies. Rod becomes suspicious of Rose's deceit, and mutes Rose, before plugging in a recording device to his phone.
However, Rose's story ended up being about her relationship with Jack rather than the whereabouts of the necklace, and at the end of Titanic, it's revealed that she had had it all along, and she brought it with her so she could throw it into the ocean, over the wreck site.
Rose is constantly insinuating that she represents the epitome of a not-racist woman. She believes that she always has the better understanding of interracial relationships than Chris does and that she is able to make the better choices for him because she lives in what she believes to be a post-racial society.
So no, Rose does not survive in Smile and even worse, it seems the curse has found a way to keep itself going, with Joel now presumably set to be its next victim. Smile is currently playing in UK cinemas.

The scariest scenes in Get Out are the ones that recall shocking realities. Jordan Peele uses cross-cutting masterfully during the auction scene, as he cuts between Chris and Rose saying, “I love you,” for the first time, and the Armitages auctioning off Chris' body.

She acquiesces, and her decision to appease Rudge causes Huston to give up on the relationship and leave town. Later that night, after performing the opening song of her long-awaited homecoming concert, Rose collapses onstage and dies of an overdose.
The resolution of dropping the necklace, telling her story, and returning to the wreckage feels like a fitting resting place. After all, Rose is a hundred years old, and the pictures on her dresser show she lived a full, adventurous life.
She pours it on herself and lights a match. After spending our time seeing things from Rose's perspective, often in uncomfortably closeup shots, we see her final moments through Joel's eyes, who can't look away despite his horror. The curse has now been passed on to him.
It is a demonic entity responsible for an ongoing series of gruesome murders, which it facilitates through a “curse” which passes from victim to victim in a “chain” stretching back to an unknown beginning.
However, in Smile, Rose never gets any reprieve from the curse. The entity hounds her relentlessly and with a gleefully sadistic streak, and it is dead-set on eventually overpowering her. Rose's mistake, ultimately, is that she keeps running and fighting before eventually giving up.
First, the separation of the milk and Froot Loops belies Rose's beliefs in the segregation of people by skin tone. She is figuratively separating white people from people of color by literally refusing to mix the white milk and the colored Froot Loops.
When the flash goes off in Logan's face his demeanor changes. Physical symptoms manifest which include a nose bleed, fear in his eyes and lunging at Chris saying "Get out". Initially, this perception of this is interpreted as aggression, but later he learns that Logan was actually warning him.
The deer killed by Rose at the beginning of the film foreshadows the fact that Chris in danger set to meet his end. The deer offers commentary about race and resistance in other ways. The biggest indicator that the deer means something more is most apparent when Chris first meets Rose's father, Dean.
The story says the door isn't large enough, that Jack gives up his spot for Rose, and that he dies. Any speculation, measurement, or experiment you carry out is irrelevant, at least according to Cameron.
And when the Titanic hits an iceberg and sinks to the bottom of the ocean, Jack performs one final act of love: He helps Rose onto a floating wooden board—and remains in the freezing water beside her. Rose makes it. Jack doesn't. Over the past 25 years, the gesture has racked up a whole lot of skepticism.
Rose runs off to free Jack from being handcuffed to a pipe, and the film never sees Rose and Ruth reuniting. The present-day Titanic scenes let audiences know where Rose ends up, and the final moments of the film pan across images of all the things she does after the sinking of the Titanic.
