The 2009 version contained the games covered in plastic (to mirror the scene in the film) and the secret room behind the TRON game opened to reveal both a replica of Flynn's lab and the End of the Line Club.
Tron is a coin-operated arcade video game manufactured and distributed by Bally Midway in 1982. How much time passed between Tron and Tron: Legacy?
It was followed by the 2010 sequel film Tron: Legacy, which takes place 28 years after the events of the first film and depicts the attempts of Flynn's son Sam in retrieving his lost father from within the Grid, now ruled by a corrupt program.
Kevin Flynn had long presumed that CLU derezzed Tron. However, it turns out that Tron was (at some point after Uprising) actually reprogrammed to serve him as Rinzler, with the familiar "T" insignia on his suit hinting at his true identity.

However, on the night it was meant to be put online for sale, Sam Flynn executed his annual prank on the company by hacking into ENCOM's servers and uploading the operating system online for free. At the same time, he replaced the program on ENCOM's website with a looped video of his dog Marv.
While it may not be as soon as fans may have wished, Tron: Ares has finally established a release date after years of development hell. The legacy sequel has been in various stages of production for nearly 15 years, and the threequel is now slated to premiere on October 10, 2025.
TRON is most similar to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster over at Hollywood Studios, which is also a catapult-launched, indoor coaster. TRON is by far the most intense coaster in the Magic Kingdom, although it doesn't have any loops or inversions.

He transfered data from the Grid onto a microdrive and paged Alan. Sam declared to Alan he was now ready to take over ENCOM and promoted him to chairman of the board. Exiting the arcade, he found Quorra waiting for him next to his motorcycle and together they rode off to show Quorra her first sunrise.
This coupled with the fact that Kevin started spending a lot of time away from the Grid following the birth of Sam, made Clu feel betrayed by his creator, which prompted him to conspire against him and take control of the Grid.
The Master Control Program (MCP), voiced by David Warner and also played by Barnard Hughes, is the main digital antagonist of the first film. It is an artificial intelligence created by ENCOM founder Walter Gibbs and improved by Ed Dillinger that ruled ENCOM's mainframe computer.
After the failure of TRON: Legacy, the franchise went on a bit of a hiatus, with it only coming back now 14 years later. TRON: Legacy received mixed critical reviews and wasn't as commercially successful as Disney had hoped, explaining why it took so long for a sequel to be made.
The ending of Tron: Legacy is about escaping the very spectacle and experiments on display. In order to let his son get through the portal back to the real world, Flynn absorbs CLU back into himself, destroying them both since CLU makes it clear there will be no compromise or reconciliation, and that he's a lost cause.
