Why did Anne kiss Eddie?
She licked her lips, greeted Eddie, then picked him up extending her prehensile tongue and forcefully kissed him, transferring the symbiote back to Eddie. They argued about taking down Drake, who was bonded by Riot, but Eddie told her to stay away from the situation.
"The Nativity" arc in Venom #164 features the alien symbiote becoming "pregnant" and giving birth to the Sleeper symbiote, resulting in Eddie Brock having vivid nightmares and experiencing symptoms similar to an expectant parent.

Venom's symbiote has explained on many occasions that the Klyntar planet is practically devoid of emotions, yet over time he knows that he forms genuine love for Eddie. Venom bonds more with Eddie and experiences guilt, jealousy, and sadness over his other half.
It could be that in the universe of the Venom movies, this type of strong bond is already known among the symbiotes to result in stronger specimens. This could explain why Venom is so fearful of facing an enemy with a ruddy hue.
Sorry Venom fans, Venom 3 has been confirmed to be the last movie in the saga. Bad news Venom fans, but it looks like the franchise's upcoming third installment will be the alien symbiote's last dance as Sony has revealed that Venom 3 is the final film in the series.
Eddie chose the latter option but decided to paint Cletus as a remorseless killer by omitting his childhood abuse at the hands of Cletus' mother and grandmother. Cletus was enraged upon learning that Eddie's exposé had gotten him sentenced for execution and Eddie was his first target after he bonded with Carnage.

Riot is the main antagonist of the 2018 film Venom. was a symbiote originating from Klyntar and an enemy of Venom. At the time of his death, he was bonded with Carlton Drake. He is Venom's older and abusive brother.
With the help of his symbiotic partner Venom, he discovered that he was pregnant. Venom took it upon himself to protect Eddie and the child growing within him, becoming more cautious and even more protective. Over time, Eddie's belly started to round and expand, giving away his pregnancy to the world.
Anne Weying first met Eddie Brock while a law student at Empire State University, and fell in love with him after he falsely claimed to have saved her from a group of thugs. Anne and Eddie eventually married, and while he became a journalist for the Daily Globe she became a successful lawyer.
