Baby Yoda will lead the next phase as Lucasfilm charts a course beyond TV. Baby Yoda is getting top billing alongside his burly protector in the next Star Wars movie. After several years without a big-screen project, The Mandalorian & Grogu will go into production in 2024, Lucasfilm announced Tuesday.
The studio revealed that its upcoming “Star Wars” movie, “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” as well as “Toy Story 5,” will hit theaters in 2026, giving Disney a formidable collection of potential blockbusters.
