Pennywise is an ancient, evil being that originated from the Macroverse and has a specific corner of the cosmic realm called the Deadlights. Pennywise takes the form of whatever its victims fear the most, but its true form has been described as an endless, crawling, hairy creature made of orange light.
The Deadlights are the true form of Pennywise/IT. The Deadlights are orange writhing lights that exist in Todash Darkness. Pennywise uses the Deadlights to break a person's mind because one look at the Deadlights will make a person go insane due to it not being able to be comprehended by a human mind.
In IT, is Pennywise the clown a demon from hell? No, Pennywise is just a form that 'It' takes. 'It' is actually an ancient being that's been around since the creation of the Universe/Universes. These beings are mentioned in Stephen Kings 'The Dark Tower' series.
No one knows the true form of It, since the creature first existed in an inter-dimensional realm referred to as "deadlights". Bill Denbrough comes close to see the "deadlights", but defeats It before this happens. The true form of the "deadlights" exists outside the physical realm.
Literature. In the novel, It is a shapeshifting monster who usually takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown, originating in a void containing and surrounding the Universe—a place referred to in the novel as the "Macroverse".
If you want to get technical, It is an alien, but It's origin goes well beyond that. It is actually an ancient cosmic deity. A god of destruction, not just of our world, but of multiple worlds and even multiple universes.
At some point in the novel, King explained part of IT's backstory but left enough of it untold to raise many questions about it, and everything about Pennywise's origins is a bit confusing, as it's connected to the macroverse and the turtle Maturin, who's the only being IT is afraid of.
At its core, a form is a tool for collecting and organizing information. It is a structured document with spaces allotted for entering data, whether it's for administrative purposes, data gathering, or record-keeping. Forms have an awesome ability to standardize and streamline data collection.
At some point, Pennywise left Deadlight and traveled across the Macroverse, entering our universe. Pennywise arrived on Earth in a cataclysmic event millions of years ago. He landed in the section of what would become North America, specifically where the town of Derry, Maine, eventually comes to be built.
For this reason, and others, Pennywise can be classified in the same category as The Great Old Ones of H.P. Lovecraft, including Nyarlathotep, Azathoth, and Cthulhu, which were later classified as Elder Gods.
They reach the conclusion that Pennywise has all of the adults under some sort of spell that prohibits them from seeing him. The adults of Derry are shown to be villainous in their own right as well. The adults of Derry are shown to be true villains of the story in the same way as Pennywise.
The novel explains that IT landed on Earth during an asteroid impact and established itself under the land Derry would be later built on, and initially preyed on indigenous tribes. From that point of view, IT/Pennywise would be billions of years old, but his clown shape wouldn't be that old.
It describes that it prefers to kill and devour children, not by nature, rather because children's fears are easier to interpret in a physical form and thus children are easier to fill with terror, which It says is akin to marinating the meat.
“Were” is simply a plural past-tense form of the verb “are.” To talk about something happening now or in the future, use “we're”; but to talk about something in the past, use “were.” If you can't substitute “we are” for the word you've written, omit the apostrophe.
When we say won't, we are actually saying will not. The form with the apostrophe is a contraction, like “don't” and “can't.” We owe the “o” in won't to a sixteenth-century form of the word: wonnot.
As per general rule of English grammar, the second form of verb is used for simple past for of a verb. For example, the second form of the verb 'be' is 'was' or 'were' which are in simple past tense or past indefinite tense.
Be, being and been are just different forms of the verb to be: Be is the infinitive, being can be the present participle or the gerund form, and been is the past participle.
Alucard - Hellsing Ultimate. Considered the most destructive weapon in the Hellsing Corporation, Alucard is an omnipotent, immortal manifestation of Dracula. Since he cannot be killed, he would destroy Pennywise with this wide array of supernatural skills.
It says on the novel, Pennywise's daughter is Mrs Kersh. Mrs Kersh happened when Beverley Marsh visit her old home in Derry. Mrs kersh said : My father used to work in a circus. His name was Mr Robert Gray aka Mr Bob Gray aka Penywise the dancing clown.
There are a lot of characters who can do kill him who are universal or higher, like Thanos w/ IG, Giratina, Dimentio, and Arceus, to name a few of the literal hundreds.
