“Here lies Dobby, a free elf.” The words are our final memorial to a miraculous life story: the story of a lowly housekeeper and cook, destined for a life of servitude to cruel masters, but set free by the kindness of a friend.
Along the beach in Pembrokeshire, in an area known as Freshwater West, fans will find a tiny shrine to Dobby marked by stones with one that reads, "Here lies Dobby, a free elf."
It was dug by Harry Potter with the help of Ron Weasley and Dean Thomas. Harry used Draco Malfoy's former wand to carve the epitaph on the grave, HERE LIES DOBBY, A FREE ELF.
How did Dobby know Harry was in danger in Deathly Hallows?
