Rune King Thor is perhaps the strongest version of Thor we have ever witnessed in the Marvel Comics. In the desperate need of power, Thor makes the ultimate sacrifice of his life in the Mighty Thor #80–85. He hangs himself from the tree of Yggdrasil to get his hands on Rune Magic and he literally died.
The most powerful Thor variant is Ultimate Thor, who's real name is Thorlief Golmen. Golmen discovers he is the most recent reincarnation of Thor Odinson and begins his journey as the new God of Thunder. This version of Thor was less reliant on Mjolnir as a power source.
Thor's greatest weapon, and closest ally, is Mjolnir, an enchanted hammer forged from Uru metal, which has power over storms and can generate energy blasts known as anti-force. Thor uses this hammer to summon rain, wind, lightning, and thunder, though he has also been known to produce lightning from his hands.
Nevertheless, the original Mjolnir - which does look much like the MCU one - is still the most powerful hammer of all. Forged as a gift by the dwarfs, the original Mjolnir from comics was then given to Thor by his father Odin. Whoever was worthy would be able to lift it.

Who can defeat God Thor?
Cap is one of the few mortals able to not only lift Mjolnir but wield its full power, making him someone who can beat Thor. Assuming the reason for their battle is because Thor is possessed or tricked, Cap would be able to use Mjolnir against him.
The reason that's important is that being able to enchant people and objects is one of the abilities of the Odinforce, so Thor being able to do it suggests that he's inherited the Odinforce and can potentially be as powerful as Odin, if not more powerful.
Stormbreaker has the additional power to summon the Bifröst, allowing Thor to teleport anywhere in the Nine Realms. Screen Rant has identified Stormbreaker as the more powerful of the two, based on this ability, as well as it being a much larger and edged weapon.
Overall, though, Stormbreaker seems to have the edge over Mjolnir once again. Strong enough to open the Bifrost, reach Eternity, and manipulate storms the same way Mjolnir can, Stormbreaker's powers are greater than that of the mythical hammer.
When it comes to which weapon is more powerful, it is likely Zeus' Thunderbolt over Mjolnir. There is still a lot to learn about Thunderbolt in the MCU, but just from Thor: Love and Thunder, it can do at least as much as Mjolnir and Stormbreaker, which are two of the most powerful weapons the universe has to offer.
By being bound to the hammer, Thor can accurately use his ultimate power, the God Blast, a destructive blast force that can destroy and kill practically anything, including immortals.
He was shown to depower Thor and cast spells such as the worthiness enchantment as well as break Loki's spell to regain his memories. Now Odin did tell Thor he was stronger then him (Odin) which some interpret as Odin meaning Thor is stronger than Odin cause Thor now has his fathers power plus his own.
Thor's determination is a weakness in that he keeps throwing himself at an adverse situation to the point of threatening his life. This can be seen by Thor's efforts to lift Mjolnir after losing his worthiness, these many failed attempts drained Thor of his strength.
Hercules (Yes, that Hercules) is, of course, the son of the Olympian god, Zeus. While not cosmic (none of that on this list!), he can survive the vacuum of space and resist cosmic attacks. He ranks above Thor here because he's technically the stronger of the two.

Is Thanos able to lift Mjolnir? No he didn't. He caught Stormbreaker, which, as far as we know, simply requires a great amount of power to wield, far more power than any human has, but presumably power that Thanos has. He never once lifts Mjolnir.
Mjolnir doesn't damage Cap's shield at all, as shown below. I think it is fairly safe to assume that Stormbreaker (being a cutting weapon, rather than Mjolnir which is designed to smash or build) would inflict similar damage to the shield as Thanos sword does. There's a chance it could be repaired -- after all, Mjolnir has been broken and remade on multiple occasions -- but seeing Thor break Stormbreaker willingly is still a shocking sight. By destroying Stormbreaker, Thor not only reaffirms how powerful he is, but he also shows Bill how determined he is in his new quest.
He has feats such as defeating Surtur (who can destroy a planet), conquering the 9 realms, and sealing away Hela. While there isn't much doubt that Thanos could beat Odin if he had all 6 stones, Odin could probably defeat Thanos if he only had one or two of them.
It is NOT enchanted. Most people make this mistake but it was confirmed by the directors that anyone who possesses the ''physical strength'' to lift the weapon can lift it. How was Thanos able to lift both Mjölnir and Stormbreaker? He was able to lift Stormbreaker because Stormbreaker is purely about strength.
In a Zeus vs Thor scenario, Zeus would probably end up the victor, but the same goes for his son, Hercules. Technically speaking, he's only a demigod, but, if any biceps could outsize Thor's, then it is the Herculators.
While Hercules may have the strength to literally destroy Thor's body, Thor can technically do the exact same thing to Hercules. The Olympian and the Asgardian are evenly matched in terms of both strength and durability.
