The Naʼvi language has its origins in James Cameron's early work on Avatar. In 2005, while the film was still in scriptment form, Cameron felt it needed a complete, consistent language for the alien characters to speak.
Dr. Paul Frommer, a professor with a PhD in linguistics from the University of Southern California, created the Na'vi language in 2005 for the first Avatar. He based it in part on Polynesian languages, and a dozen or so words crafted by Cameron.
The Na'vi language is the constructed language of the indigenous Na'vi used in the Avatar films and video games. It was created by Paul Frommer, a professor at the Marshall School of Business with a doctorate in linguistics.
Almost the entirety of The Way of Water is spoken in “English” as Jake allows his point of view to serve the audience. Only in specific scenes, like those with Quartich (Stephen Lang) and other humans is the English dialogue diegetic — as in, actually spoken by the characters.
As he says this, the Na'vi people on screen switch from speaking Na'vi to speaking English, and we understand that although they're actually still speaking Na'vi, we hear it as English like Jake does.

Why does everyone speak English in Avatar 2?
All the clans of Pandora believe in a shared consciousness through the life force called Eywa, who protects their delicate ecosystem through mutual communication. Avatar: The Way of Water may explain that to give the Na'vi a fighting chance against the humans, Eywa taught English to all the Na'vi clans.

The violence isn't very INTENSE, but the film does deserve it's PG-13 rating. Bow and arrows are present, plus some killing and explosions -- still, nothing gets TOO over the top, and its still TWEEN and TEEN friendly. Also expect strong but INFREQUENT uses of s--t and one or two uses of f--k.

"I see you" is the highest form of respect that a Na'vi member can receive in their culture, typically being said while introducing oneself to an individual who has earned such a high honor.
The most obvious distinction between an avatar and a genuine Na'vi is the number of fingers and toes. A Na'vi only has four digits, while the avatar body has five due to the human DNA. At the end of Avatar, Jake decides to transfer his consciousness to his avatar body permanently.
Why do the Na'vi have four fingers while Avatars have five? Cameron: They're a generic hybrid, and they've retained a little bit more of the human DNA that expressed itself in the human number of digits, and we wanted to distinguish the one from the other.

In the beginning Jake talks about how teaching his children to speak Navi made him learn the language and hear it as English. They have accents because they aren't speaking English. They're speaking Navi.
At Grace's school, Neytiri and Sylwanin learn to speak English, being regarded as the “top students”, but the school is attacked and Sylwanin is shot and killed. This strains the human's relationship between the Na'vi, who ban them from their land.
