Qui-Gon Jinn was an Ataru master. The fourth lightsaber form, Ataru, originated some centuries after Form III. In many ways the inverse of Soresu, Form IV focused almost exclusively on offense. Its practitioners sought to end a fight as quickly as possible rather than outlast the foe.
Another characteristic of the form was its fast strikes from multiple directions. Notable users of this combat form during the Old Republic included Yoda and Qui-Gon Jinn.
Jedi Battlemaster Cin Drallig and Grand Master Yoda had knowledge and mastery of all seven forms, including Juyo, befitting Drallig's role as lightsaber combat instructor at the Jedi Temple and Yoda's reputation of having mastered all forms of lightsaber combat as did Anoon Bondara, another lightsaber instructor.

Form III being the style that accounts for how Jedi reflect blaster bolts using lightsabers. By the time of the prequel trilogy, all Jedi were trained in Soresu in part because this is actually a tremendously useful exercise.
7. Famous Practitioners of Form VII: Juyo/Vaapad. Some of the most famous practitioners of Form VII: Juyo/Vaapad include Mace Windu, Darth Vader, and Darth Sidious. Each of these characters had their own unique style and technique when using the form.
Considered the most aggressive and unpredictable disciplines and therefore the most controversial, it was a combat style with a history of the Jedi High Council of the Jedi Order forbidding it and later allowing only select users to practice the disciplines.
In canon, Mace Windu mastered all seven forms of lightsaber combat. Mace Windu was considered and called the champion of the Jedi. He was considered to be both a champion of the Jedi Order and one of the best lightsaber duelists ever produced.
Practitioners of Form V included Jedi Masters Aayla Secura, Adi Gallia, Plo Koon and Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Ulic Qel-Droma, and Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Bane.
Practitioners. Kavar, Vrook Lamar, and Zez-Kai Ell, all Form VI instructors. Ironically for a fighting form designed to encourage moderation over aggression, Niman was the chosen discipline of the fallen Jedi-turned-Sith Lord Exar Kun.
Form II relied on careful and controlled strikes instead of power and strength. Count Dooku was a master of this form and trained the Sith assassin Asajj Ventress in its use, though hers was less elegant than her master's. The Grand Inquisitor was a proficient Form II practitioner.
Darth Traya wielded three lightsabers telekinetically against her student on Malachor V. Kreia then returned to Malachor V, where she confronted Darth Sion and forced him to submit to her will.
Kylo Ren's lightsaber form was something of a hybrid, which blended three styles together: Djem So, Juyo, and Niman. Djem So used an irregular reverse grip and was meant for practitioners who loved fighting with a more offensive edge - a perfect fit for Ren.
For decades, Juyo saw significant use among the Jedi and their ancient enemies as the two orders of Force users battled. Yet, by the end of this great war against the Sith, many Jedi who practiced Form VII had fallen to the dark side or come perilously close.
Darth Sidious, was in the earliest stages of his plan to take over the galaxy, and he was afraid a certain Jedi might get in his way. Interestingly, however, that Jedi wasn't Yoda or Master Windu, but instead Qui-Gon Jinn.

I Form, also known as Shii-Cho, is foundational and was practiced by all Jedi. II Form, or Makashi, is suited for dueling and was preferred by Count Dooku. III Form, Soresu, focusing on defense, was mastered by Obi-Wan Kenobi. IV Form, Ataru, is acrobatic and was used by Yoda.
For much of the Clone Wars, Anakin used Form V in battle. Darth Vader also used lightsaber Form V, and the idea behind this technique was to end a fight before it could be allowed to begin. It was a heavy-handed style and executed with aggressive, powerful strikes.
At first, Rey primarily fights with a lightsaber the same way she would have with her quarterstaff. However, after studying Luke's Jedi scripture and training with Leia, Rey probably uses Form VI: Niman, a jack-of-all-trades lightsaber form that combines different aspects of Forms I through V.

However, the Trakata form of lightsaber combat is one of the most unorthodox and dangerous forms of bladed combat that was looked down upon by both Jedi and Sith.
Palpatine mastered all seven forms of lightsaber combat but preferred Form VII, Juyo. This seventh form was ideal for Sith Lords, utilizing their aggression for a ferocious form that favored offense.
Revan: by his prime revan was a master of many forms. His preferred was niman, which he fully mastered. He also fully mastered Jar Kai, Dun Moch, and Form IV/Ataru. He was also fluent or a master of Form V/Shien, telekenetic lightsaber combat, and possibly juyo.
