Casey Becker is seen cooking popcorn with Jiffy Pop during the infamous opening scene of Scream preparing to watch a scary movie with her boyfriend, Steven Orth, only to be attacked by Ghostface. The popcorn represents the escalating intensity of the scene: normal to out of control.
When Casey answers incorrectly, Steve is disemboweled on her porch and she is asked another question to save her own life. When she refuses to answer, Ghostface chases her down and kills her, leaving her disemboweled and hanged from a tree, where she is discovered by her mother Mrs.
Casey mouths words to Steve and she turns off the light, causing Steve to scream for Casey. Casey crouches in the corner of the living room and unplugs the television. While sobbing, she begs him not to do this.

Roman is the most intelligent killer as he works alone, leaving no loose ends to tie up and eliminating the possibility of a partner having a change of heart. He also was the blueprint for every Ghostface, starting with Billy, but no one knew because he kept himself out of the picture until the third film.
Roman's place as the strongest Ghostface is commonly acknowledged among the Scream fan base because of his intelligence and the fact that he had no partner in crime. He may not be a very well-liked character nor a beloved Ghostface, but objectively speaking, he's high up in the Ghostface rankings.

It was initially expected to be released in 2024, though after a series of walkouts by members of the production, it is now expected to be delayed until 2025 at the earliest. According to an announcement in Fun World's Ghostface mask panel, Scream 7 is still expected to be released in 2025.
Roman is the secret killer revealed at the end of Scream 3. He is easily the franchise's weakest Ghostface for several reasons. These movies work as whodunit mysteries because they dish out a lot of fake-outs.
