The original plans for the 3rd Quarter Quell were to reap tributes between the ages of 10 and 15.
The event was cut short when Katniss shot an arrow at the arena's force field, blowing it out. This made the Capitol carry out the bombing of District 12, which kickstarted the Second Rebellion. Since the Games were interrupted, no victor was crowned for this Quarter Quell.
While not recognized as an official event, the 76th Hunger Games was arguably the most important game throughout the franchise and Panem's history.
