My Girl 2 is a 1994 American comedy-drama film. A sequel to the 1991 film My Girl, it was directed by Howard Zieff from a screenplay written by Janet Kovalcik, and starring Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis, Anna Chlumsky and Austin O'Brien.
Synopsis. The movie is set in Madison, Pennsylvania, in the summer of 1972. Vada Sultenfuss (Anna Chlumsky) is a 11-year-old girl and a hypochondriac. Vada's father, Harry Sultenfuss (Dan Aykroyd), is an awkward widower who does not seem to understand his daughter, and as a result, constantly ignores her.
Producers attempted to get Macaulay Culkin to appear in a brief flashback sequence reprising his role briefly as Thomas J. Sennett from the first film. Culkin was too busy with other projects at the time, and his character is only briefly referenced in this film as a result.
