They then return Mumble to Emperor Land, where he reunites with Gloria, Ramón, Nestor, Lombardo, Rinaldo, Raul and his parents, Memphis and Norma Jean. He convinces all the penguins (except Noah and the Elders) to dance for the humans so the human will give their fishes back.
In Happy Feet Two, Mumble has now mated with Gloria and has a son named Erik. He is first seen at the Opening Medley when he was tap dancing with his son. Then, Gloria was dancing and coming to Mumble and he faced the other way. He tap dances to Gloria as the emperors continue dancing.
Mumble exhaustingly pursues it alone, eventually washing up on the shore of Florida, where he is rescued and kept at Sea World with Magellanic penguins.
In desperation, Mumble begins tap dancing to “Boogie Wonderland”. The elders are appalled by Mumble's conduct, which they see as the reason for their lean fishing season. Memphis begs Mumble to stop dancing, for his own sake, but when Mumble refuses, he is exiled.

Why does Mumble look like a baby?
His difference in appearance from other Emperor Penguins (along with his inability to sing) may be interpreted as birth defects since he was dropped as an egg.
Ava Acres as Erik, Gloria and Mumble's only son and Memphis and Norma Jean's grandson. His singing voice is provided by E. G. Daily, who voiced Baby Mumble in the original film. Elijah Wood as Mumble, Gloria's husband and Erik's father.
During surviving the storm, Memphis drops the egg on accident which makes Mumble different to the others not able to sing like the other penguins to find true love but can dance which other penguins said was not a real penguin.
Adding to the film's flaws, Mumble's parents (played by Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman) have completely disappeared. And the character of Gloria feels substantially different since Brittany Murphy, the original voice actress, died.
Set in the cold land of Antarctica, the film follows Mumble (Wood), an emperor penguin who is able to tap dance brilliantly despite lacking the ability to sing a heartsong to attract a soulmate.
Before the first Happy Feet movie was released, Mumble was rumored to lose his juvenile feathers when he jumped off the ice cliff to stop the aliens from taking the fish. However, this got scrapped before the final cut of the film.
Though Mumble's mom, Norma Jean, thinks this little habit is cute, his dad, Memphis, says it "just ain't penguin." Besides, they both know that, without a Heartsong, Mumble may never find true love. As fate would have it, his one friend, Gloria, happens to be the best singer around.
It could easily be read as a metaphor for Aspergers Syndrome. Mumbles seems to be wired differently from the other emperor penguins, and he excels at a skill that they find strange. His father is also 'a little bit weird' (autistic-spectrum disorders are believed to be partially hereditary).
They reason that the outlandish tap dancer must have offended the great penguin spirit and they order him to desist or disappear. Mumble determines to stay true to who he is and sets off to find out what could be happening to all the fish.
The film was inspired in part by the BBC's 1993 nature series about Antarctica ( Life in the Freezer ) and it sticks close to biological reality about the life cycle of the Emperor penguin, the largest species of penguin and the only one that breeds in winter in Antarctica.

Mumble is the only Emperor penguin chick in Antarctica who can't sing. His friend Gloria (voiced by Brittany Murphy) has a glorious voice, but Mumble can never hope to attract a mate without a 'heart song', the personal tune that all Emperor penguins must have.
Even though they are happily married to Claire and Jay respectively, no one can deny that there is a chemistry between Phil and Gloria. In the beginning, it became obvious to the viewer that Phil had a crush on her and would take any opportunity to hug or touch her.
Will is a krill who lives in a swarm in the Antarctic Circle. He makes an appearance in Happy Feet Two. Upon discovering he is at the bottom of the food chain, Will goes on a quest to move himself and his kind to the top of the food chain, getting his boyfriend, Bill, to tag along.
