Meet Mirabel at Fairytale Garden overview. Guests at Walt Disney World can now step into the courtyard outside of Casa Madrigal to meet Mirabel from the hit Disney movie Encanto.
15, Mirabel now has her own meet-and-greet! She greets guests in the Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom (where Merida used to meet) in a newly transformed Casita area with decor inspired by the film. Plus, catch Mirabel's uncle, Bruno, taking her place in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade!
“For the first time, topiaries of Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela and Luisa from Disney's 'Encanto' will make a grand appearance at the festival. Located near the EPCOT main entrance, these new topiaries are sure to be a must-do photo moment to mark your visit,” Disney explained on its blog.
Since the film debuted, we have started to see offerings pop up in the theme parks dedicated to Encanto. We saw Encanto get overlaid on “it's a small world” at Disneyland! It also has found a spot in Fantasmic! at Walt Disney World Resort, and in World of Color — ONE at Disney California Adventure.

I have been patiently waiting for this moment since Disney announced that Mirabel from Encanto would meet at Magic Kingdom. I am beyond excited to meet her and see how they transformed the area.
“Journey of Water, inspired by Moana” is located in the newly-created World Nature section of EPCOT, which also includes the attractions Living with the Land, Soarin' and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. You can find Mirabel's meet and greet at Fairytale Gardens where the Merida used to meet. We rushed straight there when the park opened, and once we got there we realized that we certainly weren't the only ones.
Today, September 15th, 2023, is the first day that guests were able to meet her. Of course, I had my park reservation made ever since this was announced. Before this area became the Casita we all know and love, this used to be where Merida from Brave met guests.
