Barriss Offee shocked viewers of Star Wars: The Clone Wars when she betrayed the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order, bombing the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and later framing Ahsoka Tano for the heinous act.
She was afraid of the war and she didn't trust people she should've listened to. But she had a point about the Republic and the Jedi. There was something wrong with them, and we were too locked into our traditions to see what it was.
But Ahsoka's fate took an unexpected turn when she was framed for a bombing at the Jedi Temple. Desperate to clear her name, Ahsoka was captured, stripped of her Padawan status, and expelled from the Jedi Order.
Galle and his squad rendezvoused with Offee, who was fighting off a number of battle droids. Galle came to a halt, and Offee ordered him to fire. The lieutenant complied; he ordered an AT-TE to open fire on Offee, blowing her remains to ashes. As Offee died, lightyears away, her former master perished also.
Skywalker demanded that she tell the full truth; Offee admitted she did it because she had come to believe the Jedi were the ones responsible for the war, and that they were the real villains of the conflict. Offee claimed that the Jedi have become Sith-like, as if they were not like they used to be.

Why did Anakin struggle against Barriss Offee?
During the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker fought fallen Padawan Barriss Offee in a lightsaber duel in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. The duel occurred after Skywalker learned that Offee framed his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, for the bombing of the Jedi Temple hangar that occurred several days earlier.
Barriss Offee was a female Mirialan who served the Galactic Republic as a Jedi Padawan, and later the Galactic Empire as the Inquisitor, the Emperor's Eye.
The Sixth Brother (formerly named Bil Valen) is an Inquisitor and the main antagonist of Star Wars Disney novel Ahsoka and a secondary antagonist in Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith, by Marvel Comics. He was defeated and killed by Ahsoka Tano.

Some fans assumed that Seventh Sister might have actually been Barriss Offee, but Tales of the Jedi disproved that theory, showing Barriss, while also briefly an Inquisitor, had a different fate.
While the Star Wars canon doesn't explicitly confirm his regret, the intricacies of his relationship with Ahsoka and the remnants of his former identity could have stirred some degree of internal turmoil.

Ahsoka died for the first time at the hands of the Son in the Mortis arc in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's not uncommon for Star Wars characters to return in some form after their death, but Ahsoka's case is pretty unique.
Even though Ahsoka has been completely killed twice on-screen, she is still an important piece in the entire puzzle of the current Star Wars canon. After Ahsoka was killed by the Son on Mortis, Anakin and Obi-Wan were prepared to do anything they could to save her.
After the death of the Grand Inquisitor, he was deployed to pursue the Spectres, but clashed with Seventh Sister. Fifth Brother ultimately perished at the hands of the former Sith Lord Maul on Malachor.
It's a fascinating idea, but Filoni eventually passed on the opportunity to reinvent Starkiller as an Inquisitor. It's possible he sensed Starkiller was too powerful an enemy for Kanan and Ezra, at least not without lessening his power levels and thus not doing him justice.
Aayla Secura joined the Jedi mission to Geonosis, which became the opening battle of the Clone Wars. Aayla fought bravely, but was surrounded by Separatist forces. She and her fellow Jedi prepared to fight to the death, but were saved by the arrival of Yoda and clone troopers aboard gunships.
