Final Crisis. As prophesied, Orion returns to Earth via boom tube for his final battle with Darkseid. During the massive fight, Orion ultimately kills him by ripping his heart out, which created a firepit of Apokolips from Darkseid's chest cavity (in reference to the prophecy of their final battle).
Kara Zor-El has the same basic power set as her cousin, Superman, making her yet another DC superhero capable of defeating Darkseid. Like Superman, Supergirl has also beaten Darkseid in the comics and their adaptations, with one notable example being the animated movie Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.
Growing desperate, Darkseid summoned the Black Racer, the living death of the New Gods, to destroy his enemy. The Anti-Monitor fused it with the Justice League's Flash and merged its power with the Anti-Life Equation to finally destroy Darkseid, ending his life once and for all.
While an Avengers villain rather than a Justice League foe, Galactus and Darkseid faced off in John Byrne's Darkseid vs. Galactus. There, Darkseid is vastly outmatched by Marvel's Devourer of Worlds, who is able to shrug off his Omega Beams.
He has superhuman speed and strength, and once fought Zeus to a standstill. Thor would certainly be thwarted by Darkseid. This fearsome villain would be able to drain the lifeforce from him, and even his godly weaponry doesn't seem like it could withstand Darkseid's Omega Beams.
Weaknesses. Vulnerability to Radion: Darkseid and all of the New Gods are vulnerable to a substance called Radion. Its source is unknown and its effects are toxic only in sustained amounts or after explosive exposure. The average New God can be slain by an application of Radion from a Radion blaster or bomb.
However, Steppenwolf betrayed Darkseid to enemies who wanted to seize the throne of Apokolips, but he later turned on the would-be usurpers, defeating them in the hope of correcting his error. Still, due to his betrayal, he was exiled from his home and tasked with conquering 150,000 worlds for his penance.
In the Snyder cut of the film, the Olympian Gods are shown to be actually fighting Darkseid and his army of Parademons. Ares is the one who defeated Darkseid by cleaving his shoulder.
The Joker then used his power to repeatedly kill Batman in the most grotesque and violent ways imaginable, highligting the lengths of the madman's depravity. The crowning acheivement was having vultures devour the Caped Crusader. Unfortunately, Joker was eroding the fabric of space and time with his antics.
Batman defeats Darkseid with just a pair of goggles, which completely depower Darkseid. Batman plans to go back in time by controlling Darkseid using a baby version of him and the Omega Effect. The Godwave Goggles negate Darkseid's Omega Effect, making him significantly less powerful.
WHY HE CAN'T: Hyperion Is No Superman. Superman doesn't beat Darkseid because of how powerful he is; while that helps him survive the fight, Darkseid still outclasses Superman. Superman has learned to use his brains in battle against Darkseid, allowing him to win his battles against the dark god.
While Manhattan can transform things using the laws of physics, Darkseid transcends those laws. In Doomsday Clock, Manhattan feared Superman would destroy him. If Superman possessed this power in the main DC Comics continuity, surely Darkseid, in his strongest form, would be powerful enough to destroy Dr.
Darkseid's lust for conquest would be his undoing, though. Darkseid would try to take the Dark Dimension away from Dormammu, sending his forces there to be slaughtered. Eventually, he would lead the charge himself, and Dormammu would destroy the God of Evil, as he has the homefield advantage.
Darkseid and the power of Apokolips would be able to overwhelm any defenses Doom could set up in Latveria. While Doom has been able to overcome powerful beings in the past, Darkseid and all he can bring to bear would allow him to destroy Marvel's powerful being.
Galactus would win. Dormammu may be a god within the Dark Dimension but he's a fairly weak one. Doctor Strange has been able to defeat him there. Galactus is on a whole different level of power.
Darkseid is definitely stronger than Hulk at a base level, but as the fight goes on, Hulk gets more powerful and he would eventually defeat the God of Evil.
Both attacks pale in comparison to the omega beams. This should lead us to believe Darkseid can easily blast through mjolnir. The only defence I see is most of the times mjolnir's been damaged or destroyed, it was against magically imbued opponents.
Cosmic Ghost Rider will still put up a good fight but it would be futile; none of his powers would be able to affect Darkseid. Sure, he can blast him or punch him but that's not going to do much against a god.
A massive green light appeared before Darkseid, revealed to be the Joker. The Joker teased him over his failure to take the Anti-Life Equation before Joker could and used his powers to overwhelm Darkseid's mind.
Usually, Darkseid is capable of beating down Superman in a fight, but it's often depicted as a close one-on-one fight that tests both to their limits. Here, Darkseid attacks as a genuine God of Evil, beating two versions of Clark Kent without breaking a swear.
Unfortunately, Joker already knew about his plan. and appeared as a giant green light behind Darkseid, mocking him over his failure. to obtain the Anti Life Equation before him. He then used his powers to break darkseid's mind. and left him in the depths of outer space for good.
