In the play, Olaf's character is a "very handsome man" who marries Violet Baudelaire's character, a beautiful bride, at the end. Justice Strauss played the "walk-on role" of judge adjudicating the marriage. According to at least one source, it took place on January 12th.
“You're right,” she said finally, to Count Olaf, “this marriage, unfortunately, is completely legal. Violet said 'I do,' and signed her name here on this paper. Count Olaf, you are Violet's husband, and therefore in complete control of her estate.”
She, like her siblings, is very polite. At the end of the series, she, Klaus, and Sunny adopt Kit Snicket's baby daughter, Beatrice Baudelaire. Violet has a love interest in Quigly Quagmire. Violet Baudelaire is one of the three protagonists of the series; she appears in all thirteen novels.
Violet felt a rush of excitement and nervousness. Quigley kissed her for the first time in front of anyone else and made it obvious that they were dating.

Does Violet marry in a series of unfortunate events?
With all the evil elements of his plan complete, Count Olaf stops the performance of The Marvelous Marriage and announces that Violet is now his wife—for real. The audience is in shock, but Count Olaf explains it all: Violet has said "I do" in front of a judge and signed a marriage document.
However, in The Beatrice Letters the reader is told that Beatrice returned Lemony's engagement ring and sent him a 200-page book explaining why the two could not wed, something she could not have done had she believed Snicket to be dead; although this may have been after he was revealed to be alive.
Unlike in the books, he has a crush on Violet Baudelaire, first noted when he and Violet's staring is met with Sunny telling them to "get a room." While trapped in the Red Herring, Duncan scratches his and Violet's initials into the wall and is a bit embarrassed when he realizes Violet may have seen it.
In both the TV series and the book series, Violet has a brief flirtation and romantic moment or two with Quigley. It's interesting, because Duncan seemed to have a crush on her at school that she reciprocated.

Bertrand Baudelaire is the father of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, the husband of Beatrice, and a V.F.D. member. He trained under S. Theodora Markson, who was also Lemony Snicket's chaperone during his early training.

The plan to marry Violet Baudelaire to gain the inheritance went awry. Violet managed to thwart Olaf's plan by signing the marriage with her left hand instead of her right, which as she was right-handed, was the required one to make it legally binding.
Violet did not show any signs of being interested in Quigley at first. But he became interested in Violet when she declined his statement that according to the map there is no straightforward way to the Mt. Fraught.
Courtney officially breaks up with Duncan in The EX-Files, after she dumps a bowl of spaghetti on his head and kicks him in the groin for cheating on her. Although he feels bad about cheating on her, he continues to go out with Gwen.
He trusts Macbeth and all of his loyal men, and makes Macbeth Thane of Cawdor in gratitude for his service in the battle. He is presented as a good king, not least by Macbeth, who initially seems reluctant to kill him.
However, as they spent more time together, Duncan became more attracted to Courtney, while Courtney, at first insisting that she would never be attracted to someone like him, eventually started falling for him during Basic Straining. This is the first time the relationship between the two fully blossomed.
Esmé Squalor, it seems, is only interested in the sugar bowl because it completes her tea set and was stolen from her by Beatrice Baudelaire and Lemony Snicket. However, in "The End" Kit reveals to the Baudelaires that the sugar bowl does actually contain something of value: sugar.
The most popular theory behind the fire is that Count Olaf is the culprit. He has had a history of starting similar fires and admits to being guilty of "arson".
