As for the post-credits scene, we find Jane Foster's spirit re-awakening in Valhalla. Valhalla is the afterlife of the Norse gods, and there's a lot of talk about it in this movie. As Jane appears, none other than Idris Elba's Heimdall (who died back in Avengers: Endgame) is right there to greet her.
The good news is, unlike Odin, we see that Jane's body is reconstituted after death. In the post-credits scene, she arrives in Valhalla where she's greeted by none other than Heimdall (Idris Elba), who was killed by Thanos back in “Avengers: Infinity War.” The two share a sweet moment, and then the movie ends.
Although she was a mortal, Jane Foster was able to gain entry into Valhalla after succumbing to her cancer, as she had died in battle against Gorr the God Butcher.
In the comics, Jane Foster also goes to Valhalla when she dies as Mighty Thor. She's granted entry by Odin as a reward for saving all of Asgard, and similar to the events in Thor: Love and Thunder, it's an instance of these rules of entry for Valhalla being broken.
It seems those who are deemed worthy serving Asgardians and die in battle are brought to Valhalla where these heroes would spend eternity in Bliss. Jane Foster was allowed into Valhalla apparently for dying in battle against Gorr fighting for the Asgardian cause and protecting the life of Axl Heimdallson.

What happens after Jane goes to Valhalla?
The decision eventually kills Jane, though we see in a end-credits scene that she does get a hero's afterlife in Valhalla. Thor is shocked by Jane's transformation. Movie fans may be shocked by her death. But Marvel comics devotees were likely unsurprised by the plot twist.
Brunnhilde asked Jane if she wanted to become a Valkyrie, and she agreed. So, Jane was upgraded to Valkyrie status and gifted Undrjarn the All-Weapon. Since becoming a Valkyrie, Jane has had a full plate.
"I see you're dead now. Thank you for looking after my son," he tells Jane, referring to his son named Astrid (who prefers Axl) that was introduced in "Thor 4." "You are very welcome here to the land of the gods," Heimdall says, gesturing to the land behind him. "Welcome to Valhalla."
In the comics, Jane hesitates at the gates of Valhalla, not wanting her life to be over yet, until Thor and Odin combine forces to revive her. With a second chance at life, Jane makes her cancer treatments a priority, and goes back and heals up while Odinson takes up Mjolnir and becomes Thor again.
She's in Valhalla, kind of like Asgardian heaven, for warriors that die in combat. Obviously in the MCU that doesn't have to mean literally in the fight, since Jane got to say goodbye before dying. Jane Foster's transformation into the Mighty Thor is finally complete.
Thor: Love & Thunder's Hemsworth Family Cameos Explained
Thor: Love & Thunder marked the acting debut of India Rose Hemsworth as Love. The ten-year-old is Chris Hemsworth's own daughter, and she wasn't the only member of Hemsworth's family to appear in the Phase 4 film.

Though Jane Foster is dead, it's possible that she has a cameo in Thor 5. Valhalla was shown at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder (with Heimdall welcoming Jane), so if Thor dies, he may see her and other slain Asgardians.
Across multiple comic continuities, Thor has had several daughters including Brigid Thorsdottir, Thena Thorsdóttir and Torunn Thorsdóttir, the latter recurring in many iterations. In Norse Mythology, Thor had a daughter named Thrud with Sif.

Their conversation gets a little heated, as Heimdall refuses to heed Thor's threats, but when the God of Thunder tells him to look into his eyes to see what he'd do to him, Heimdall backs down, calling him a "sick man".
In 2025, Mjølnir reassembled itself in order to bestow power on to Jane Foster, who began operating as Mighty Thor. However, Mjølnir's power prevented any attempts to treat Foster's cancer. After Foster's death, Thor regained possession of Mjølnir.
