Aquaman is recognized as the son of Atlanna and is later voted to be the King after the death of the former regent, who had no heirs. By this time, Aquaman had met Mera, a queen from a water-based dimension, and married her shortly after he became king. They soon have a son, Arthur Jr. (nicknamed "Aquababy").
Y'Mera Xebella Challa, simply referred to as Mera, is the daughter of King Nereus, the princess of Xebel, and the wife of Aquaman, the current king and former prince of Atlantis. She is the mother of the heir to the Atlantean throne, Arthur Curry, Jr.
Ocean Master was reintroduced post-Crisis as the antagonist in 1986's new Aquaman #1. Here, Orm and Arthur bicker about their shared human father, Tom Curry. Arthur—or Artie, as Orm calls him—casts himself as a loving brother who simply can't understand the rage of his younger sibling.
In it and subsequent Silver Age comics, it was revealed that this Aquaman was Arthur Curry, the son of lighthouse keeper Tom Curry and Atlanna, a water-breathing outcast from the lost underwater city of Atlantis.

While Aquaman is strictly speaking a superhero rather than a sea god, his appearance and powers in the upcoming movie certainly draw on those of maritime divinities. Aquaman's abilities to communicate with sea life, control the ocean and swim at superhuman speeds all resemble traits associated with Poseidon.
In Brightest Day, Tom Curry has been shown to be Aquaman's biological father once more. Black Manta destroys his tombstone. Tom Curry served in the US Navy and later chose a life of seclusion as a lonely lighthouse keeper in (as shown for the first time during Blackest Night) Amnesty Bay.
Weaknesses. Dryness: If Aquaman stays dry for too long, he will die. Batman declared himself awesome, and takes it upon himself to keep Aquaman wet at all times. Despite Aquaman's complaints, Batman continues in his attempts to make Aquaman wet.
In the new movie, Aquaman calls Orm Loki at one point when his brother is being particularly sarcastic. Now, some fans will probably take this nod toward their dynamic as another nod toward a godly duo in greek mythology.
Ariel is the youngest daughter of Aquaman and Aquawoman and the little sister of Arthur Curry Jr. She inherited her father's ability to communicate with sea creatures but also can talk to land creatures as well.
In standard DC Comics continuity, Deep Blue is Aquaman's half-sister Debbie, the daughter of Tsunami and Atlan, raised by Tsunami and Neptune Perkins. In "Titans Tomorrow", an alternate timeline story featured in Teen Titans vol.
Andrina Curry: The daughter of Aquaman and Mera. She is the Princess of Atlantis and inherits the powers of both of her parents. Aquababy: Son of Aquaman and Mera, Arthur Curry, Jr.; he inherited Mera's water-controlling powers while having the unique ability to create and mutate sea life.
After courting her unsuccessfully he changed himself into a disheveled cuckoo. When Hera took pity on the bird and held it to her breast, Zeus resumed his true form and ravished her. Hera then decided to marry him to cover her shame, and the two had a resplendent wedding worthy of the gods.
But Rhea, his wife, saved the infant Zeus by substituting a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes for Cronus to swallow and hiding Zeus in a cave on Crete. There he was nursed by the nymph (or female goat) Amalthaea and guarded by the Curetes (young warriors), who clashed their weapons to disguise the baby's cries.
Zeus, the god of the sky and thunder and a famous character in Greek mythology, used an elixir on his father Cronus in order to rescue his siblings. He then became the king of the gods and lived on Mt. Olympus. It is believed that between his many relationships, he fathered around 100 children.
Meet Perseus, a demigod of Greek mythology who was famous for killing Medusa by cutting off her head, which he displays in one hand. Medusa had live, hissing snakes for hair, and anyone who looked at her face instantly turned to stone.
Soon after, Aquaman and Mera had a son named Arthur Curry, Jr.. Note: Some accounts identify him as Arthur Curry III, but this information is no longer considered authoritative. Another Atlantean who became a close friend of the ever-growing family, was the teenage girl Tula.
Creators. Andy Curry is the daughter of the original Aquaman Arthur Curry and Mera. As a child she was known as Aqualass, the sidekick of the second Aquaman Jackson Hyde.
