So while Juggernaut is much more powerful, and would normally be able to win in a fight, Colossus could convince Cyttorak to transfer his power, or even cut off Cain Marko's connection to Cyttorak. Cain Marko would be left as a normal human. Colossus would still be a powerful mutant.
As Avatar of Cyttorak, Colossus has beaten Juggernaut. He would have defeated Juggernaut as an avatar of the Phoenix Force as well, since that was an Alpha-level incarnation, but for the most part - Juggernaut always stomps Colossus.

These heroes used their unique abilities, whether it be telepathy, strategic thinking, sonic blasts, or reality manipulation, to overcome the seemingly unstoppable villain.
It is regularly shown that Colossus normaly performs at a higher level than Luke Cage- no, not a level Luke Cage cant fairly combat, but still a higher level. Are you suggesting that Colossus physiology is not also superhumanly durable? Between the two Colossus has shown greater durability and invulnerability feats.
