Tai Lung (voiced by Ian McShane in the films and André Sogliuzzo in the television series) is a muscular snow leopard and the main antagonist of Kung Fu Panda.
The original villain, Tai Lung, stood out as the most fearsome with his raw power and martial arts expertise, making him a formidable adversary for Po and his allies.

However, despite being a warrior of great skill, strength, and determination, Tai Lung finally met his match when he was defeated by Po, the true Dragon Warrior. Tai Lung made a return in Kung Fu Panda 4, where he was summoned from the Spirit Realm and had his appearance and abilities copied by the Chameleon.
Po overpowers Tai Lung and sends him to the Spirit Realm using the legendary Wuxi Finger Hold technique, which he taught himself. Po is honored by the Valley and the Five, and relaxes with a recovered Shifu.

Who killed Tai Lung?
Po utilizes the Wuxi Finger Hold on him, obliterating Tai Lung. Tai Lung's defeat marks Po as a Kung fu warrior. In Kung Fu Panda 3, it's explained that the Finger Hold instantly sends its victim to the Spirit Realm, indicating that Tai Lung now resides there.
Though these students became well-known for their heroics, none of them were selected to be the Dragon Warrior, and Shifu was outraged when Po was chosen instead.
Po finds himself torn between his love of being Dragon Warrior and his feelings for Lu-Shi. Eventually he decides to marry her, while Crane begins organizing the ceremony. Tigress, meanwhile, is suspicious of Lu-Shi and confronts her, and discovers that her locket contains a picture of a male goat.
Po has been shown to lose to Tigress and Shifu mainly because he's not a threat to his allies. But the protagonist has always turned it up a notch against the villains. Po has mastered every fighting style there is, and his natural inclination toward chi enabled him to become the Dragon Warrior.
It would make sense if she supported Po in his upcoming fight, but director Mike Mitchell revealed that she and the Furious Five would be on individual missions in the fourth film. Even though Tigress isn't in the trailer, she, along with her four comrades, will make a brief appearance in Kung Fu Panda 4.

General Kai (also known as The Collector) is the main antagonist of Kung Fu Panda 3. He was a warrior and the general of an army, which he led alongside his brother-in-arms, Oogway. Kai fought alongside Oogway as best friends, but after he learned how to steal the chi of others, Oogway banished him to the Spirit Realm.
Lord Shen. Po's main opponent in Kung Fu Panda 2, this dastardly, short-tempered peacock is bent on conquering all of China and wiping out all the nation's pandas. He also commands a wolf army and devises a cannon to put an end to kung fu.
He's been teaching Shifu kung fu ever since Shifu was a kid. He dies of old age at the Sacred Peach Tree and is blown away by wind and pink petals in Kung Fu Panda the movie. He then returns 4 years later in spirit form the episode Ghost of Oogway in Kung Fu Panda Legends of Awesomness.

We learn in Kung Fu Panda 2 that when Po was a baby, his biological parents were being chased by wolves and that before his mother was killed, she hid Po in a crate to save his life, Mr. Ping later found and adopted Po.
Soon after the events kf kfp2, Po and Tigress had a long, heart to heart talk about how much they care about one another and this led them to eventually begin dating. They kept it a secret from the others, not wanting this to get awkward seeing as how they all live, train and work together.
Despite the "father" meaning of the word 父, the term 師父/师父 is also used to address a female teacher, while the term shīmǔ (師母/师母) or "master-mother" is used to address a male teacher's wife.
However, while approached by Oogway, the elderly turtle saw darkness in his heart and didn't see him as worthy enough to be the Dragon Warrior. After Shifu neither said nor did nothing after hearing this, Tai Lung considered this an act of treachery and his pride was replaced with anger.
Kung Fu Panda 3 confirmed that the Wuxi fingerhold sends people to the Spirit Realm. This revelation directly applies to Tai Lung's fate since this is the exact move Po used to defeat him. As a result, Tai Lung is not back from the dead per se in Kung Fu Panda 4. He is rather pulled from the Spirit Realm temporarily.
Though Oogway invented kung fu and is often considered the greatest master, the franchise's titular character, Po Ping the Dragon Warrior, proves that he has surpassed even Oogway by the end of Kung Fu Panda 3. Po defeats Kai, who defeated Oogway, proving that he is the best kung fu master to have ever lived.
Grand Master Oogway was an elderly tortoise and the previous senior master of the Jade Palace. He is credited as the founder of the Valley of Peace, the creator of kung fu, and the developer of the Dragon Warrior legend.
