In Atlanta, Rick's group comes into conflict with the Vatos, a group of Latinos that kidnap Glenn and demand they exchange Rick's bag of weapons for his return. When they face-off at the Vatos' base, they discover it is a hidden nursing home, and the Vatos are only trying to protect their own family.
There was a deleted scene on the Blu-Ray that showed what happened to them. Our group went back to check and see how they were doing. They discovered the Vatos were slaughtered by another group. Even the old people who were there weren't spared.
A former Savior called "The Croat", the leader of the Burazi, kidnapped Hershel and brought him to Manhattan. The Croat offered to return Hershel if Maggie could bring him Negan, whose skills were needed to help the Burazi grow.
