Sif was determined to find the real Thor, and her determination drove a wedge between her and Heimdall. When Karnilla conspired with Loki to rule Asgard by having Odin awaken with Loki's soul possessing him, Heimdall was branded a traitor and banished to the Dream Dimension, ruled by the demon Nightmare.
Heimdall's motives and actions primarily were driven by his altruism for the safety and good of Asgard to the point where he would even betray the throne of Asgard if he felt it was necessary to protect his people.
The god of thunder grew up with his adopted brother and have thousands of years of experiences together. In the few years that the MCU has chronicled, Loki repeatedly betrayed and tricked his brother, but Thor continued to trust Loki all the same.
Believing himself to be the rightful King of Asgard, Loki schemes to undermine the God of Thunder's ascension to the throne, desperate for his father's approval and to be seen as an equal to Thor.
He does this partly—in his own words, and he has no reason to lie about this to Laufey of all people—to protect the kingdom from Thor's foolishness and immaturity. And he is not alone in his belief that Thor is not ready to be ruler of Asgard.

While Loki and Thor did, by heart, truly love each other as brothers, their intention to rule Asgard made them fierce rivals. However, Thor evolved himself by learning that a true leader doesn't start wars or seek to conquer other territories, while Loki sought to control the world and gain more power over others.
In modern literature (such as Marvel Comics) it has become popular to portray Loki as the adopted son of Odin. This however has no basis in Norse mythology, where Loki is portrayed as the blood brother of Odin.

Heimdall has always hated Loki, partly because he is part Jotnar, and partly because he is able to slip in and out of Asgard outside the watchful eye of the protector of the Bifrost. Once the battle starts, Heimdall comes face to face with Loki, and the pair battle by transforming into seals.
Predominantly, Heimdall hates Loki because he is part Jötnar (a member of a group of giants who serve as one of the primary antagonists of the gods) and partly because he can slip in and out of Asgard outside of his watchful eye.
Although he is an extremely skilled marksman, Clint Barton is often considered to be the weakest member of the team seeing as he's just a regular guy with a bow and arrow.

Laufey was the king of the Frost Giants of Jotunheim, and the biological father of Loki. He was betrayed and killed by his own son while attempting to start a second war between Jotunheim and Asgard by murdering the Asgardian King Odin.
Is Loki more powerful than Thor? Loki isn't more powerful than Thor ,that's why he seeks mjolnir. I will say he is more powerful without bringing mjolnir to the question. Although he is more versatile having powers Thor doesn't,Thor is far stronger physically though and mjolnir can dispel magic spells.
Meanwhile, the events of Endgame and Loki gave fans hope that Thor would get a chance to see the person Loki became, easing the grief from seeing his brother's death. Unfortunately, the Loki finale all but ensures that won't happen. There is one small glimmer of hope, though.
Here, holding on to all of the timelines, he became a kind of tree god, physically representing the Norse tree of life, Yggdrasil. It was a poignant and painful ending for Loki, who now seems to be sentenced to being alone for eternity as he watches over the timelines.
Now Odin did tell Thor he was stronger then him (Odin) which some interpret as Odin meaning Thor is stronger than Odin cause Thor now has his fathers power plus his own. But we have to remember two things. Odin himself said Mjølnir only channeled Thor's power, Thor just needed to learn to use it naturally.
Posing as Bor's ghost, Loki torments Odin, demanding that he repay his betrayal by one day adopting the child of one of his victims. Odin agrees, and Loki moves into his endgame.
In the film, Odin dies a relatively peaceful death after being sent to Earth by Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in the previous film. Odin gets one final moment with his two sons before fading away and ascending to Valhalla.
