Superman doesn't beat Darkseid because of how powerful he is; while that helps him survive the fight, Darkseid still outclasses Superman. Superman has learned to use his brains in battle against Darkseid, allowing him to win his battles against the dark god.
Kara Zor-El has the same basic power set as her cousin, Superman, making her yet another DC superhero capable of defeating Darkseid. Like Superman, Supergirl has also beaten Darkseid in the comics and their adaptations, with one notable example being the animated movie Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.
Not only has Darkseid defeated Superman in battle in the past, he's done it when Superman is backed up by the Justice League. Darkseid has taken on Superman and Supergirl at the same time and nearly beat them. Superman alone just isn't that much of a threat to Darkseid.
He has superhuman speed and strength, and once fought Zeus to a standstill. Thor would certainly be thwarted by Darkseid. This fearsome villain would be able to drain the lifeforce from him, and even his godly weaponry doesn't seem like it could withstand Darkseid's Omega Beams.
Darkseid is definitely stronger than Hulk at a base level, but as the fight goes on, Hulk gets more powerful and he would eventually defeat the God of Evil.
But then how did Odin beat Darkseid? WIZ: Odin tore the 4th world, the home of the gods, out of the divine sphere, thus Darkseid was no longer a higher dimensional being, just one god in one universe. This made it possible for Odin to kill Darkseid.
Despite Black Adam's challenge, Superman's Kryptonian physiology ultimately makes him stronger, as confirmed in the issue. Fans eagerly anticipate a future showdown between Superman and Black Adam, with potential for an epic battle in various mediums.
The Avengers would win, only if they were fighting together (Thor, Wanda, Strange, Danvers, Vision, etc) seeing that it took Atlantians, Amazonians and Zeus and Ares at their most mature form to defeat him.
Batman has contingency plans for just about every villain and hero in the DC Universe — including one that can completely and utterly depower Darkseid. As one of the most powerful villains DC has to offer, it's even more impressive that Batman managed to defeat Darkseid with only a pair of goggles.
The Joker then used his power to repeatedly kill Batman in the most grotesque and violent ways imaginable, highligting the lengths of the madman's depravity. The crowning acheivement was having vultures devour the Caped Crusader. Unfortunately, Joker was eroding the fabric of space and time with his antics.
Even in the few times he's faced Superman, the green monster has lost. It's no fault of the Hulk's, but Superman is called Superman for a reason. Unless he had kryptonite or a magic-user by his side, Hulk would usually fall to the DC Hero - although, he'd put up a hell of a fight. Superman wins.
While Superman could potentially overpower Thor, blows rendered by the mystical Mjolnir would likely impose serious damage on the Kryptonian hero. With his super-speed, the Man of Steel could probably avoid the Thunder God's lightning, but not necessarily, since Thor is just as fast.
This makes Hyperion a strong candidate to take down Darkseid because he's basically Marvel's version of Superman. Hyperion doesn't pull his punches, and he's very aggressive. He can be an anti-hero or a villain, and he may become the dark Superman needed to kill Darkseid.
Captain Atom and Superman have fought before. In that battle, Superman had to pull out a trick or two to come out on top because, at the end of the day, Captain Atom is stronger than Superman. On top of his strength and invulnerability, Captain Atom can absorb and expel radiation and energy of all kinds.
Hulk has a violent reputation among Marvel's heroes. He's the strongest one there is, and his power is pretty much infinite. Fighting him is basically an exercise in futility, as any blow that doesn't take him out makes him angry, and he just gets stronger. However, that's exactly why Black Adam would win.
Both attacks pale in comparison to the omega beams. This should lead us to believe Darkseid can easily blast through mjolnir. The only defence I see is most of the times mjolnir's been damaged or destroyed, it was against magically imbued opponents.
Cosmic Ghost Rider will still put up a good fight but it would be futile; none of his powers would be able to affect Darkseid. Sure, he can blast him or punch him but that's not going to do much against a god.
Darkseid is much stronger than the entirety of the Masters of Evil put together. He would easily batter Hercules into submission. Darkseid's strength is greater than Superman's, which is the kind of strength that can crack planets. Hercules couldn't take more than a few punches from him, the God of Evil.
thanos even without the infinity gauntlet he would win against the juggernaut, no matter if juggernaut he's unstoppable, brute strength alone it's not enough to defeat thanos. Thanos he's superior to juggernaut even without the infinity gauntlet.
Ultimately, Darkseid and Doomsday are much alike in terms of the level of threat. Superman would much rather fight any other villain than both of them. Although Doomsday was able to take down Darkseid easily, Superman could never. It's a fact that Darkseid isn't an easy threat to defeat.
When one compares Darkseid's pure brute strength to Ultra Instinct Goku, there isn't that much of a difference. However, the fact that Goku's frequency and power increase while using Ultra Instinct means the Dragon Ball warrior has to be ranked a bit higher.
