While Force healing could have saved Padmé, material from both continuities explains why Anakin couldn't use it. The Force is a fundamental omnipresent energy that can be used as “powers” by those who are trained to tap into it. One such power is healing oneself or another at an enhanced speed.
The marriage, witnessed by the droids C-3PO and R2-D2, was kept secret due to Amidala's place as a prominent Senator in the Galactic Republic and because of Skywalker's membership in the Jedi Order; the Jedi Code prevented Jedi from falling in love and forming attachments such as marriage.
Anakin does not have even the slightest bit of remorse. By the end, he feels nothing but anger. Although he feels regret for killing Padme, he still helps the evil Emperor. The film ends with Anakins standing side by side with the man on whose behalf he has committed all his crimes.
However, a Sith would be far too selfish to teach this power to save a life other than their own, which is why Palpatine likely aimed to stay alive for as long as he could and didn't even try to save Padmé. What makes Force healing such a dangerous ability is that it challenges the beliefs of both Jedi and Sith.
She threw herself from a balcony, claiming that she no longer recognized her love. Thus, Vader's quest to save Padmé ended with her choosing to commit spiritual suicide so that she wouldn't have to go back with him.

Did Vader ever go to Padmé's grave?
This issue begins at the tomb of Padmé Amidala on Naboo. Vader has finally found her resting place and is accompanied by Sabé and his Imperial Forensics droid, Zed 6-7. Standing over her tomb, Vader begins to use the Force to remove the top layer. Sabé begs him to stop.
Sadly the Clone Wars would have still happened, but Padmé would have also survived, giving birth to Luke and Leia who would have probably been inducted into the Jedi Order. As for what would have happened between the two, with their marriage and all, that's a bit tricky.
In the main Star Wars timeline, of course, Darth Vader's attempts to resurrect Padmé on Mustafar were doomed to failure. But it's fascinating to speculate what would have happened had he been successful. In that scenario, Padmé Amidala's return from the dead would not have provided the solace Darth Vader sought.
Amidala's body was taken to Naboo aboard Organa's ship, the Tantive III, and prepared by mortician Commodex Tahn, who made it look as if she had died pregnant. Her death was attributed to the alleged Jedi Rebellion that had prompted Order 66.
Anakin's vision did come true, as Padmé, heartbroken by her husband's downfall, loses her will to live and succumbs while giving birth to twins. Before her death, Padmé still believed there was still good left in Anakin and that one day he could be saved with the help of their children.
And he's already murdered Mace Windu at Palpatine's behest, more or less by stabbing the Jedi in the back. The canonical comic Star Wars: Darth Vader #7 confirms the younglings' deaths caused Anakin grief, self-loathing, hatred, and pain, fueling his descent even further into the Dark Side.
She knew he was volatile and even murderous after he slaughtered the Tusken Raiders. As such, the only reasonable explanation for her marrying Anakin is that she was truly in love with him.
How did they not figure out their relationship right then ? Just after Dooku escapes. In the EU book Wild Spaces they talk about it, and Obi-Wan is sent to tell Padme she needs to break things off with Anakin.
Of course, Padmé ultimately died in childbirth, meaning she was only 27 when she passed away and Anakin was just 22 when he was transformed into the mechanical monstrosity known to the galaxy as Darth Vader.
The subtitles and script show some of Padme's final words to Obi Wan as “There is still good in him.” Every time I watch this I swear she says “Obi Wan... there's quite a name.” I have always thought of it as her recognizing him for everything he has done over the trilogy.
Honestly, I just couldn't figure out who she was or why she was even in the funeral procession. This also means that for the longest time I forgot I could just look up the credits of the film. Long story short, she is Padmé's niece, Pooja Naberrie, and was portrayed by Hayley Mooy.
While the act alone didn't kill her, Anakin's turn to the dark side was too much to bear. Holding on long enough to give birth to her children, Padme eventually passed away, having lost the will to live. Thus, Anakin's visions of her death came to pass, and Bail Organa and Obi-Wan were left to care for the children.
So overall, it seems highly likely that the answer is no, Palpatine didn't have the power to save Padmé's life. He hadn't even begun learning the power when Anakin became Darth Vader, and the idea of saving lives was of no interest to him.
Anakin's Force Choke begins the series of injuries that ultimately leads to Padme's death, and convinces Obi-Wan to fight him. Despite this, when Anakin learns of Padme's death, his immediate reaction of grief and regret shatters everything in the lab with a powerful force shockwave.
Why didn't Obi-Wan say anything about Anakin and Padmé?
He fell in love with Satine and would have left the Jedi had she asked him to, but she did not, and so they parted ways, divided by their duty. Obi-Wan couldn't help wishing Anakin the happiness he had been denied, and therefore, he decided to keep the marriage between Padmé and Anakin a secret.
Dooku, AND Anakin, would be less likely to fall to the dark side if Qui-Gon was left alive and Maul's sympathetic past would never be revealed. For the former, Order 66 wouldn't be executed since Dooku wouldn't be the one planning to do that on the clones.
