But another vampire who loved Alice turned her into a vampire to save her from James. This is one of the reasons that James is so intent on killing Bella—he wants to punish the Cullens for depriving him of Alice so many years ago.

James was the leader of his coven, with his mate Victoria and his coven mate Laurent. He caught the scent of Bella Swan, and hunted her as his next meal in Twilight. Using his power of tracking, he found Bella in Phoenix, and tried to lure her into a trap by claiming he had captured Bella's mother, Renée Dwyer.
Rosalie is annoyed and jealous of Bella partly because Edward finds her attractive. "Twilight" shows fans Rosalie's annoyance with Bella but doesn't really explain some of the reasoning behind it until the sequel. She doesn't understand Bella's desire to be a vampire when Rosalie wishes she could be human again.

Imprinting is described in Twilight as being “gravitationally pulled” toward the imprintee while “a glowing heat fills” the imprinter.
Irina of the Denali Coven sees Renesmee and believes she is an immortal child, a human child who had been turned by a vampire. She informs the Volturi, as immortal children are not permitted to live. The Volturi reach Forks intent on killing Renesmee and the Cullens.
Knowing that Bella means she plans to consummate her marriage with Edward while still human, Jacob becomes furious, because he is sure Edward would kill Bella in the process.
The scent of her O-positive blood is incredibly attractive to vampires, described by Bree Tanner to be the "sweetest scent she'd ever smelled", though it is a thousand times more intense to Edward Cullen.
Then Jasper, while to an extent he may or may not affect the body itself when manipulating emotions, he's still affecting the emotions themselves, but not any thoughts attached to the emotions. So because Jasper's gift is emotional and not mental, it is able to affect Bella.
After Bella has become a vampire, Jacob tells him about the underlying supernatural world and Bella's involvement with it, although without informing him directly that she has become a vampire. Despite the shock caused by the change, he learns to cope with it and ultimately remains a part of her new life.
During this story she has an attempted kidnapping by the Volturi, resulting her in being put in a coma. Her parents rescue her and make she the coma is reversed. Renesmee is constantly worrying that the Volturi are after her and this forced her to grow up faster than Chantelle or even Eddie.

Esme's gift is to love the people around her passionately, which allows her to easily show affection. She is able to welcome Rosalie, Emmett, Alice and Jasper into her home with open and caring arms; as well as Bella, a human girl her son Edward fell in love with.
